「Beautiful clean renovation of gorgeous building on rustic property setting. Stayed one night - any longer I might have been frustrated with set up of all kitchen bits available but down stairs. We were in Berthe which is a large rm but has the most uncomfortable wicker chairs so sat on the bed. Didn’t get to the bottom of why we didn’t get checkin info automatically but when we did it was very clean and easy to follow. 」

「Room spotless. Comfortable bed & lovely bathroom. But awfully small. Could only open 1 bag at a time. Check in instructions only came through 10mins before our arrival. Just not good enough for us. But all in all (& for the price) was excellent. Chaumont is a beautiful town. Buffalo Grill brilliant!!」

「Honestly for one night it’s great, we arrived late so missed the check in period but they offer a digital check in and we thought that was so effective. Has everything you need. 」

「When I arrived at this property the owner finally answered the door, she said she had no knowledge of my booking. Finally I had to email her a copy of my confirmation. This wasn't made any easier by her statement that "she spoke no English" - the website clearly states multilingual staff. (In fact it later became clear she did speak English). The 'living-room' is actually set out as a shop and did not feel welcoming - I was not invited to use it anyway. The only restaurant in Salives was unable...

「This was a very comfortable overnight stay on the way to a half term ski holiday. Room was clean and comfortable and had everything we needed. Street parking only but seemed ok. Breakfast was great. Owner was happy to speak English and was funny and very accommodating 」

「Machine to gain access out of order so couldn’t gain entry for 20 minutes. Terribly small room. Drunken guest outside 」
