Shower was cold and very low pressure. Was a cold night and the heater did not do the job.

Excellent value

Foe a motel on a very busy road it was not too noisy - the rooms were large and reasonably comfortable. There was limited bench space in the kitchen so it would have been difficult to wash up if you cooked a meal. TV was excellent & Commonwealth games were on making viewing time very pleasant

Rooms and beds were comfortable. I really only used it as a sleep over while I was doing an install at Wiri, so not much else to say. The staff were friendly, and honest. They rang me up about a credit card that they had found in one of the rooms after I left, but it wasn't mine.

Great motel, close to motorway link.

Easy check-in/out process. Re-booked for a week later and that was easily arranged by staff. I like the fact there are laundry facilities on the property. The room was ideal. Compact yet cosy and had all the necessities. Keep up the great work guys.

Over priced

Needs updating desperately. Wall paper peeling Decore very very old. walls are very very thin noise travels, taps screech when turned on, I’m sure they would’ve woken then neighbours. Staff/owner very friendly and helpful. I thought $150 was over priced when compared to the ibis Auckland airport for $100. Difference being this had a very outdated kitchenette compared to bright modern no kitchen ibis. We stayed here for convenience only

Basic facilities with tired decor

We had a family room for five adults and a baby. They did not have a portacot as requested at time of booking. The room was old and dated but tidy, IN Need of a revamp. The main bedroom window wouldn’t close properly so there was a lot of road noise being so close to great south rd. The sofa looked like it needed a good clean.

Handy location and good staff....but....

Customer service great and friendly but.... Room avg and not 140/night value Dont normally dis anywhere but if paying this amount I expect a certain level and just down the road (if it had been available) were luxury studio's gor just an extra $10/night Things noted were: - No plug for vanity sink - No rubbish bins - No extra blankets in room - Broken power point behind bed - Extremely dirty extract fan in bathroom with no light cover - Shower doesn't drain properly - Funny (sewer) smell when toilet flushed, may be linked to shower problem - Very poor tv reception on most channels - Unmowed lawns - Rubbish out back of unit - Several shopping trolleys around unit

The Truth NOT sugar coated

Misunderstanding when checked in, my partner cleans hotels as an occupation and was not at all up to basic standard for the price we paid, spiders & webs throughout the entire room, mold on the kick board in kitchen and in shower "painting over it will not help get rid of it", dust on top of door ledges, dust on art work, in order to turn light on in main bedroom we had to turn light on in living room (dodgy electrical engineering ) was not happy with how we were treated, false descriptions on website manager was not happy when we pulled her up on it. Filthy itinerary book needed wiping or new book all together. Cigarette butts in garden, rubbish on window sul , not a very happy customer and will NOT stay here ever again

General condition was just ok, The beds were more comfortable to sit on than the 2 seater couch and the beds were not great. I had to wash some of the cups before use to remove the coffee stains. I would probably not stay again.

Best tourism points are further north or south

This motel is convenient to Auckland but not a good choice for spending your whole visit ti New Zealand. Staff were very nice. Facilities are dated but I liked the electric blanket and heater. No AC but fan Location was close to motorway access but it took 5or6 hours to visit most interesting sites on North end of Island b/c of Auckland traffic jams. Day trips were impossible to many Northern tourist attractions. The high-light was being able to drive to different local beaches within hour or two. The countryside is beautiful. Many desirable tourist sites to the south of Auckland also take 3 to 5 hours due to distances involved. Next trip I would select half my time further north and half my time further south.

Easy access and tidy motel

Handy to Manukau and motorway with easy access off Great South road. Motel room and service reasonable but could do with some maintenance. Pool clean and well fenced with nice gardens.
