"We really enjoyed our stay, with six of us staying comfortably in the house. The house was easy to find, on the outskirts of a small village and surrounded by peaceful countryside. The hosts were very welcoming and friendly and had prepared drinks and snacks for our arrival. A small issue with the Wifi was resolved on the same day with no further problems. "We've stayed in many self catering cottages and had a very different experience in this one. On VRBO the gite is advertised as having a lake view, its no where near a lake! After we'd paid for the gite the owner contacted us for €300 cash deposit, and told us about additional electricity charges per day. There was no mention of this on VRBO, so the owner waived the charge. We arrived at 4pm on a Sunday and immediately had to find a supermarket as no basics/welcome pack was provided e.g bread,...

"We spent 14 very relaxing days in the house of Severin and Frederic. The main house as well as the "chicken coop" have been prepared with great attention to detail and great effort. The kitchen is certainly expandable (dishwasher, full oven) but still absolutely sufficient, especially since outside a grill is available.
