"The cottage was cosy and had everything we needed. A minor niggle, but it was a bit cluttered with cushions and throws in the sitting room - the throws just slid off the leather sofas and the cushions were too big and too many, so were surplus to requirements. The location suited us very well, with a host of lovely walks and places to visit nearby. We had a wonderful break and can recommend!"

"My wife, daughter and dog Pumpkin had a wonderful stay at the Bothy. Karen was the perfect host, loved Pumpkin and had thought of everything to make our stay a perfect. The Bothy is located on the edge of beautifully secluded woodland and yet just moments from Moffat and transport. My only complaint is that I didn’t decide to stay here for our holiday rather than continuing up the road. We will be back! Thank you Karen, see you next year :) "

"This house is wonderful for big family gatherings. We loved it. The space is fabulous, kitchen well stocked and the dining room is lovely for big family meals. The breakfast table was superb for sitting and enjoying watching the birds on the feeders. So quiet and peaceful and lovely walks."
