Glenmidge Cottage stay

We had a wonderful week over Christmas at The Cottage.

We had a wonderful week over Christmas at The Cottage. The owners had made a real effort to make the place feel seasonally festive and they'd decorated it beautifully. The area is very scenic with plenty of walks to take advantage of yet still only a short drive to Dumfries to take advantage of the shops/facilities there. The property was presented to a very high standard and contained all the necessities for an enjoyable and comfortable stay. Would love to come back in the summer months as the weather was as you'd expect in December, quite wet and misty. Rosamund and Frank were excellent hosts and couldn't do enough for us. Rosamund even popped in on Xmas day to check that their grandchildren weren't making too much noise from next door (they weren't). Would recommend this cottage to anyone.
