Es liegt an einem ruhigen Platz etwas abseits der Durchgangsstraße und doch in kurzer Fußwegentfernung zum Zentrum und zur historischen Altstadt. Ebenfalls in kurzer Entfernung zwei Bäckereien. Es gibt viele Möglichkeiten zur Freizeitgestaltung mit geführten Wanderungen bei Ebbe, Bootstouren zu den Sandbänken mit Robben, Radtouren, uvm.
