This is probably one of the most basic rooms we have ever stayed in, a cross between a college dormitory and a sanitorium. The room was bare, with tiny beds, a tiny shower and no closet. Unfortunately, in Flam, that’s what you get for $550 per night. You pay for the view, which was amazing, and the included breakfast and dinner, which was decent but not exceptional.

The plane was good the location was perfect! I just have to remind myself that customer service can be different in other countries. We were two women with very heavy luggage and weren’t aware that there were many, many stairs to get to our room, with no elevator or assistance available. It was definitely a challenge with our bags!

Breakfast and dinner were included. Both were delicious and well planned and plentiful. The room view was absolutely breathtaking. This is very close to to the “main” center but offset by the marina with a direct look at the fjord. Much better option than the other big properties we searched.

Maintenance required for front steps. Broken and chipped slate tiles. Dangerous for travellers carrying suitcases.
Room good size for solo traveller,
Single bed very small, children's size. Poor and inadequate furnishings. Small and minimum.
Communication could be better, as never advised that alcohol with supplied dinner was charged for.
Very expensive, and poor value for mkney

nice and quiet
