"The staff went above and beyond and were consistently friendly and welcoming. It would seem the property has not been updated in decades, yet it was very clean. The beds are soft, which was a challenge for us. Yet overall our experience was excellent, and we would stay again."

"An absolute 5-star experience from start to finish! The room was impeccably clean and comfortable, and the staff went above and beyond to make sure we felt welcome after a late check in. My daughter absolutely loved the incredible view from our room, and the breakfast was a fantastic touch that made the stay feel extra special. Can't wait to come back!"

"Hotel was incredible, new, great staff and fun to sit poolside and fireside. The food at the restaurant was ok, not amazing, but maybe taste preferences. Spa was very nice, new and great services."

"Very unusual property with various buildings spread out through the village. The room was quite good. The only complaint is that the hotel is very understaffed and there was little help available in certain areas. For example, we had to carry kayaks and find paddles and life jackets ourselves because there was not a single person working on the boat area."

"Property wasn’t clean, elevators very dirty. My room was not properly cleaned the 3 nights I was there. There was hair in my shower when I first went to use it and it was never cleaned up during my stay. Staff was nice but not very efficient when I asked to join Marriott rewards. I had to ask two different people to complete the sign up and I still have not been given the points for my stay. I guess I will have to call to have it cleared up."

"Myself and some friends had a wonderful weekend here! We cooked a lot so the well stocked kitchen and dishwasher were great. We walked to Lake Glass Beach down the road, sat out back and grilled out, and played pool in the main room. The house next door (north) was just purchased by a group of Wells alumni and they gave us a tour and told us about its historical significance which was a real treat. The steam room was excellent and well maintained. We stopped by northville arts center/coffee shop on the way out, also a converted church that formed from a breakaway from this church’s original congregation and had the best scones I’ve ever tried. We loved staying in this church and in Aurora and would definitely stay again!"
