This property was absolutely perfect for my group. It was clean, well stocked and the owners were generous with the checkout time. The setting is glorious with beautiful sunset views. We wanted to be close to wineries and breweries and this was ideal

Nice lakeside retreat

Sunset Paradise is a cozy lakeside house that does really well for a long weekend. Well situated along the lake and nearby some local wineries and breweries, it’s well appointed and maintained for a comfortable weekend!

Weekend getaway

Husband and I took advantage of a weekend away before becoming parents to two girls! It was beautiful—house was amazing. Had all the comforts we could have asked for. Kitchen had a great supply to make any dish! Really enjoyed our time and look forward to bringing our girls back one day! Thank you Paul and Debbie for being amazing too, from showing us the boat lift to being readily available anytime for a question!

Sunset Paradise

This was a wonderful get away with a nice balance of space to have time together and time alone. It was wonderful to be able to listen to the waves and enjoy being so close to the water. We struggled to figure out the hot water in the kitchen but the showers were lovely. We are grateful that the owners were flexible and allowed us to extend our last day into the afternoon.

Great spot for a relaxing girl's weekend!

We spent a beautiful four-day weekend in the prime of the fall foliage season and this was a beautiful lake location for our stay. It did take a bit of a drive to get to the wineries on Seneca lake, but we enjoyed spa treatments, wine tastings, and amazing dinner at the Aurora inn and lots of quality time at the house and around in the area. The rental was easy and the house was in need of some upgrades but in good shape and clean. The owners were sweet and very thoughtful with many little details and recommendations for a great stay. We definitely want to come back again!

Fall getaway

Delightful long weekend with friends. Property was very clean and well stocked with kitchen supplies, books, magazines, and games. Communication with our hosts was excellent! We especially enjoyed relaxing in the huge hot tub! There was a good winery very nearby, and we spent two afternoons on day trips to Seneca Lake and all around Cayuga Lake. Lots to do on Seneca Lake, and many restaurants and points of interest on the west side of Cayuga Lake. We thank our hosts for a perfect lakeside vacation!

Perfect!

We stayed for 9 days at Sunset Paradise. The house was clean and cozy; perfect for both sets of grandparents, me, my sposue and our 2 teen boys. Lake-front accomodations were exactly what we wanted as we spent our days and nights swimming, kayaking, stand up paddleboarding, and boating. The outdoor space with the hot tub were amazing. The house has everything you might have forgotten for all ages. Debbie and Paul offered the option of extra water toys for rent that made our stay even more fun. Great communicafion and responsiveness from Debbie and Paul throughout our stay. Book and you won't regret it!

friends get together

We were a group of 5 gals in our 60's. I received many compliments for choosing this property. It was perfect for us. Very quiet area, upper and lower areas to enjoy sitting by the water. We planned on spending most of our time at the house, so we only ventured out for some groceries, and took in a couple wineries. We got to experience a heavy thunderstorm going down the lake and at no time felt that we were not safe. The house has everything you need. It is very comfortable and clean. we all enjoyed our stay there!

Girls Wine Trip

I stayed at this property about 4 years ago. I actually rented it this time not realizing it was the same. I love the house and the amenities it offers. The owner was very responsive when we had an issue. We felt as tho some areas could’ve been cleaner. That being said - it is possible the owners are not close and are paying someone to maintain this for them.

Overall, the trip was a lot of fun. Didn't appreciate being charged for cleaning and then follow instructions to clean and vacuum upon leaving. Tried to clean the stove and oven unsuccessful. Beds not comfortable and had to walk through another bedroom to get out. Not very private.

Best experience we could ask for!

Absolutely the most relaxing enjoyable vacation we could ask for. Paul and Debbie are amazing hosts that make the booking process seamless. Everything you need is available at the location. Meal preparation is made seamless by provided appliances, and cookware. We experienced very warm and relatively chilly weather during our stay and the house provides all the accommodations to maintain a comfortable temperature throughout each room of the house. Hot days were spent enjoying the lake, and chilly evenings allowed us the opportunity to take advantage of the hot tub. We have rented numerous properties on this lake over the years and this one is by far the best! The lakefront location is easily accessible from the road and the property has spacious parking available unlike most others. The property is VERY well maintained, it is clear that Paul and Debbie want to provide the absolute best experience for their guests. Sunset paradise is appropriately named as every evening had incredible views! Thank you Paul and Debbie for being available and such considerate hosts! We hope to return again!

The BEST renters and a BEAUTIFUL property

This was our first time renting through vrbo and our first time at the Finger Lakes. We had an EXCELLENT experience with the owners. Any and all questions we had were answered and they were extremely nice! They went out of their way to make sure we had a great stay. I want to explore other areas, but I would stay here to rent from them because they were that great! Most of the wineries are on the opposite side of the lake, but there are a few that are right down the road from the house! We did go to the wineries on the opposite side of the lake and it took about 45 minutes to get to the farthest one, but it was worth it! Also be sure to check out the wineries that have an area for boats to dock if you are boating. The dock at the house was very spacious and left plenty of room for everyone to lay around the dock and swim in the lake. The water was shallow enough for adults to touch around the dock. The house was clean and the expectations or any questions about what was available/how to work things in the house were clear. The hot tub was an amazing addition and very clean. The sunsets were BREATHTAKING and the layout of the dock made for great pictures! My boyfriend took a large truck and boat to the house and there was plenty of room for him to park. The house is located in a very nice and quiet dead end road. The cupboards were stocked with kitchen utensils and amenities which made it convenient having to not pack bulky kitchen things or something small like salt or pepper. You are on a lake so be sure to pack some bug spray for the night time! Overall, we were all very happy with our stay and couldn't say more great things about the owners!

Perfect spot on the lake

A perfect spot for relaxing on the lake. Very comfortable with a homey feel, and friendly owners. There’s a great winery, a brewery and state park a very short distance away. A place to come back to again.

Peaceful stay in a beautiful place

The house was great and exactly as advertised. Everything was clean and well supplied. The owners were easy to reach when needed. We had a great time kayaking and swimming in the lake. The highlight of the trip was definitely watching sunset over the lake in the hot tub. We hope for a return visit someday!

Perfect Lake House

Awesome, well equipped lake house with lovely lake views, pretty sunsets and outstanding amenities. We had 3 generations stay comfortably with plenty of space to cook, visit and relax. The dock and boat lift are easy to use and help get onto the lake. We’ll be back for sure!
