Aussichtsturm Rother Kuppe

Hotel Deutsche Eiche is a very convenient location to the Marienplatz and Viktualienmarkt. Restaurant is particularly good! However, we chose this hotel because they offered 24-hour airport shuttle service. this is not the case and has not been for over 5 years according to the desk clerks. Perhaps they need to update the hotel amenities. The taxi ride cost an additional $120 that we were not expecting on top of the quadrupled rates during Oktoberfest.

Our favorite hotel when we stay in Munich. Great location, wonderful rooms, and helpful staff. Breakfast buffet is a bit pricy, but there is an awesome coffee bar in the lobby with delicious food. It becomes a bar in the evening.

Ashraf the front desk agent saved the day! Our original room had a few issues and he empathized kindly and even had assisted us to a different room which was much better. He is a gem and has excellent customer service! He saved our Oktoberfest visit and should be a manager with how well he handled the situation. The hotel gets a 10/10 from me because of him. :)
