Great place to stay. Friendly staff and owners. Everything was clean and beautiful and very homie. Plenty of amenities. The food was excellent and it was great having a Keurig in our room with cream and sweeteners and sugar. The air-conditioning worked great.

Adult couple visited from UK. Absolutely loved this place. Beautiful B&B in a nice safe part of town. 5-10mins walk to restaurants and bars. The place itself is quirky, but very clean. The rooms are big. The owner Bryan is a really nice chap and very friendly. The breakfast was superv and just enough. 100% staying here again.

We loved staying at Brava House. It felt super comfortable, clean and inviting. We recently had 2 separate stays there. Firstly, in the Casablanca room, which had an old-time, romantic Victorian vibe. And then on our return to Austin, we stayed in the Julian suite, which is super spacious and beautifully appointed, overlooking the leafy garden. Breakfasts were excellent and our hosts very friendly. We’ll definitely be back.

Lovely B&B guest house in a great location. We had the Van Gogh room which was really nice. Nice continental style breakfast. Easy walking distance onto 6th street, bars, restaurants and shopping areas. Free parking at property. We would happily stay here again.

We were amazed at the size of our room, we had two fireplaces on a little kitchenette along with a very lovely bedroom and a nice bathroom. Location and neighborhood are lovely. A couple things keep it from being perfect. This is our second time staying with them and the hot option on the breakfast hasn't been great either time ( although the coffee is great). The TV did seem to have a mind of its own and stopped working in the middle of our movie, and the fridge in the room didn't work all together so the things we put in there didn't keep. The tub was a delightful size but there were not a lot of spaces to put toiletries. Overall the historic home is gorgeous, and tends to be very good value for money in close walking distance of really nice shops and restaurants.

We had an absolutely fantastic stay at the Brava House just outside of downtown Austin. The place is incredibly charming and unique, with so much character. The rooms were beautiful, comfortable, and thoughtfully put together, and the common area where breakfast is served was such a relaxing, welcoming space to start the day. Breakfast was outstanding and clearly prepared with care. It felt more like being hosted in someone’s home than staying somewhere typical. Bryan was a tremendous host. He was warm, engaging, and a pleasure to talk with, and you can really tell how much pride he takes in creating a great experience for his guests. Sherry was equally wonderful, and together they have built something really special. 11 out of 10 experience. We would absolutely come back and would 100% recommend this to anyone visiting Austin who wants something unique, comfortable, and full of charm. Thank you so much, Bryan and Sherry, and thank you, Brava House.

Room was spotless. We were even comfortable just walking barefoot (and we normally don’t at hotels, even nice ones) Furnishings were nice, plenty of space. Bed, pillows and comforter were very clean and comfortable. A couple of negative points that aren’t really that negative but the bathroom mirror was a little too high for my wife who is just couple Inches over 5foot. And the hair conditioner was not so great on my wife’s hair. Breakfast was ok, nothing fancy, the cooked portion was small but was done well and still did the job. The fruit was fresh. Parking was secure and spaces were wide enough for picky parkers like me. The host and staff were also very nice as well. Overall, a very enjoyable and pleasant stay. Planning on coming back.

Our stay at Brava was great. The room was clean and well furnished with everything we needed. The area was quite enough that the first night we slept with the windows open, it was a little chilly to do so the second night. Breakfast was good, with some cold and warm options and a nice variety. Brian was welcoming and a great host. The entrance to the parking is a little quirky, but once you take a minute to understand what you are looking at it is easy to navigate. We love finding places like this to visit and return to, and we will definitely be back. We took a nice walk to the nearby park and say Malin the Troll. The park was very nice and had plenty of areas to play.

I got in later than expected and, in the dark, found BravaHouse licked with no one around. I had missed a te t from Bryan with parking instructions, door codes and other information. When I found a phone number, Bryan quickly and kindly answered and walked me through things. My room—suite, actually—was very clean, bed exceptionally comfortable. Breakfast included healthy options like berries, granola and Greek yogurt. Just an all-around great stay.

Die Lage des Hotels und die historische Anlage sind wunderbar. die Umgebung ist innenstadtnah, ruhig und sicher. Mein Zimmer war mit ansprechenden Möbeln ausgestattet. Das Bad war in Ordnung und alles war sauber. Aber ein Zimmer ohne Tisch ist in einem Gästehaus, das nicht über einen Aufenthaltsraum verfügt, nicht besonders praktisch, weil man sich darin tagsüber nicht aufhalten kann. Das Frühstück war nur mäßig. Es gibt keine Küche, daher keine frisch hergestellten Speisen.. Abgesehen von Früchten, Cereals, Milch, Kaffee und Kuchen, gab es Brot,Butter und Marmelade sowie teilweise vorgefertigte warme Teigtaschen. Fazit: Haus gut, Ausstattung teilweise gut, aber aber unvollständig. Insgesamt nicht sehr gastfreundlich geführt.

This was a wonderful B&B in most all respects: clean, comfortable, in a great location, private entrance to room w/o going through house, nice breakfast, good parking, quiet, walkable to many places. It would clearly deserve a 5 star EXCEPT for lack of communication prior to and at the start of our stay. We arrived for checkin at 4 pm. No one around. Doors locked. No advance notification of how the process worked despite sending emails directly to their “info@“ email address. We went back online, found a number and called. Ends up they had a contactless way to arrive, which would have been fine HAD WE KNOWN OF IT IN ADVANCE. We then had to ask about breakfast hours — which again, we had emailed about in advance and never received a response. THEN, we had to ask via text about the WiFi. Never did get a response to that. So, if they’ll improve advance communication — even in room written communication about breakfast and WiFi, etc. — then the place deserves 5 stars. We have every intention of returning when we next need to be in Austin. Now, we know the drill — unless they change their process.
