Graduation weekend

Perfect location for my UT grad weekend. Even with all the traffic less than 10 min to the multiple ceremonies. Great access to grab food and come back. The house is well equipped with everything you need, the beds are nice and comfortable. I wish I had found this place earlier in the last 4 years.

Great place and location

This was a great house for our family’s trip. The second floor has an open floor plan and nice windows with views of downtown. We enjoyed cooking meals, playing games and watching movies in a very comfortable setting. The location was excellent for getting around quickly and the neighborhood is charming! The management company was very responsive and made the process very easy!

College Visit

We came to Austin to visit UT. The location of the home was perfect in terms of access to downtown and to the campus. Enjoyed the views from the unit. It is next to the highway, but that was not a problem. Overall, we found the home to be comfortable and clean. The property manager was very communicative.

Lovely but know before you book

Beautiful modern home, great location, would recommend. A few things to know first: it has street parking only. Required to clean before you can leave: put dishes in dishwasher and turn it on. Take out the trash. Takes away from the vacation feel.

Killer view

This super convenient unit was very spacious and immaculately clean. The large windows and patio look out at the University of Texas Bell Tower and football stadium. We walked to the concert venue in campus and felt safe all the way (even walking under the overpass of I35). One suggestion, more than one dish towel so we don’t have to use paper towels as much.

John's place was absolutely amazing. My sister and I went for her birthday weekend and the convince of was great! My favorite part was the view upstairs of the capital and the swing outside the master bedroom. The beds were comfortable and everything was so easy to use. Literally super close to everything and I will defiantly consider going back to john's place in the future. I fell in love with the decor and comfort of the place. We both honestly just wanted to stay in and watch movies while looking outside and eating junk food, although he convinced ourselves to go out lol. We loved it 5 stars!

Hidden Gem

Great place to stay if you’ve booked an event at the Moody Center. We walked about 10 minutes (one way) to see Madonna and the return walk to the rental was much quicker than trying to get an Uber. Felt safe in the area and walking as well. Property was very clean. Bedrooms small but perfect for what we needed. Bathrooms very spacious, nice towels and toiletries. Upstairs living area also spacious, comfortable seating and kitchen area, mostly windows with a great view of the city. We were only there for one night, but wish we had more time to enjoy the place. Great communication with the host!

Very enjoyable stay!

My group of 4 really enjoyed our stay here at Swede Hill. The property is located at the back of another property just off a main highway which runs through the city close to downtown. It was pretty easy to navigate. Once we got into the home, we were very impressed with how welcoming it was. The living room ace kitchen area upstairs is very bright with large windows, you can see across the highway too much of the core of Austin. We loved the book selection. The beds were comfortable and we liked having access to an outdoor balcony. The hosts were already ready to provided us with information and stayed in contact with us from even before our arrival to after our departure. Hope to return one day again!

Nice property, needs to be clean, patios require maintenance, house forniture no in good shape.

We stay 16 nights, we enjoy the stay in family, the house is nice but the property require maintenance. Carpets are no clean, some external phone or electric cables are no fixed according codes, potential risk, patios could be much better, main entrance requires better illumination, patio looks like a deposit. The unit requires a inspection to list all the small repairs required, the property could be very very nice after those improvements. Best Regards.
