Fell a little short

This is the first poor review I have ever given on a rental. Linens were stained. Floor wasn’t clean. Doors off of the closet and set to the side. Doors and construction materials in the master closet. Spider webs in multiple rooms. Wet towels and sheets were left in the dryer. No communication from the management group until the night before we checked out and that was to tell us that a Walmart delivery would be arriving for the next guest, it was due to arrive at 10 am but instead arrived at 8:30. It was as if they were unprepared for our arrival and the townhouse had renovations in progress. Overall, it wasn’t bad enough to make us uncomfortable, but I wouldn’t have rented it if I had known its true condition. I’m still puzzled by all of the great reviews.

Warning! Avoid this property at all costs!!! Nightmare experience!!!

WARNING: DO NOT BOOK THIS PROPERTY (Austin - "Luxury Townhouse With Pool /Near the Domain")Our VRBO rental was a catastrophic health hazard and complete deception. Upon entry, an overwhelming fragrance failed to mask a horrific cat urine smell, causing my wife severe allergic reactions (tearing eyes, breathing difficulty), rendering it uninhabitable.The "luxurious" property was a sham: the outside was falling apart, the neighborhood was run-down with dog waste, resembling a "trailer park with lipstick." The listing falsely advertised bunk beds for 5, but only provided two small beds, accommodating just two people.The owner, Sean, denied any issues, despite clear evidence, forcing us to impose on our daughter for our entire trip. Our attempts to resolve this through the platform were extremely difficult, and no alternative accommodation was offered.After immense struggle, Sean finally admitted fault (eventually replacing carpets with wood floors). They then offered a deceptive future credit which was later rescinded. We were ultimately forced to pursue a full refund due to the property's uninhabitable condition and egregious misleading advertisement.This property does not meet basic standards of habitability or honesty. The owner was uncooperative, and the entire experience highlights a grave risk of booking through this specific listing. Avoid this property and owner at all costs. It ruined our trip.

Owner was responsive to questions and accommodated a late checkout. The location was convenient to my office (and bonus of having Celis Brewing a short walk away). The exit gate was always open so reduces security of a gated complex. Patio door security bar was broken (though didn't tell owner prior to this review). For those like us who prefer a darker room at night, we recommend the smaller bedroom as it has a curtain and outside light is not directly shining on the window....not so for the master. The townhouse could use a few more kitchen / dining supplies that we told the owner about.Overall it met our needs. With a few more changes it would be even better.

Just right for a weekend stay

We stayed for three nights. The townhouse was exactly as the pictures presented. Close to everywhere we wanted and needed to go. The host was quick to respond to any questions we had (which were very few). I would recommend and I would stay there again.

Nice Location!

Came to Austin to celebrate my 21st by barhopping on 6th street with friends and family. At the end of the night it was definitely nice coming back to front door parking in a gated neighborhood. Overall the townhouse was very quiet and peaceful.

Overall nice place

Great place to stay if you want to explore Austin. It's just a short Uber ride away from some good restaurants. The apartment is clean and nicely decorated. The neighborhood is pretty quiet, which was nice. I was excited about the pool, but it had a lot of debris in it so didn't end up using it.

Property was exactly as described. The owners were super accommodating and let me in a bit earlier to complete my remote workday. Overall excellent experience and would 100% stay again.

Good place

All good with the house, we had some issues and Sean always helped us and kept in contact. There weren’t glasses so we used some mugs to drink water but not a big problem.
