This worked out perfect for our family to stay during race weekend. We had the pool to relax in and the setup of the bedrooms and main living area were convenient for the group! great time and great stay!

We stayed for one night, but the home had everything we needed. For being a home within reach of Downtown Austin, the garage was able to fit a Chevy Suburban and a Honda Pilot! The home was nicely furnished and comfortably hosted a large family.

Modern compact retreat

Great layout for indoor/outdoor enjoyment. The pool was small and warm as it overflows with the hot tub, and perfect size for being in with small children. It might be hot in summer. It’s about 5 feet deep. There’s a bit of noise as it’s a busy street, and the noise carries upstairs with the modern hard surfaces, but the adjacent residential neighborhood is quiet, beautiful and upscale with walkable playground a few blocks away. The beds were very comfortable. The common area was well layed out for a family gathering. We could have used some pantry items. We had no butter/oil, nor Pam, so spent a lot of time on cleanup with few dish towels. We were glad we were able to bring some supplies with us as we were driving.

Fun girls weekend in ATX

Overall very happy with our entire stay. The location was great for a fun girls weekend in ATX. The "pool" is on the much smaller than expected size but nice for a quick dip or maybe if you have young kids. Communication with property management was great & home felt very spacious. Happy with our stay here!

Fabulous stay

This property is beautiful. 3 bedrooms and a room with 3 bunks which makes it great for larger groups. Everything is so nice and cIean. The pool with hot tub attached are so lovely. We had a great time relaxing and hanging out at the pool. I highly recommend this property for people staying in the Austin area. We were a short Uber ride away from everything.

Perfect venue for a girls weekend

We had the best time staying at Brooks' place! The home was very clean and the upscale/modern vibes set the tone for a perfect weekend with the girls. It's in a great location - close to restaurants and bar - and the pool was a great touch with the Austin heat! A few items were broken when we got there but we communicated immediately to Brooks and he was quick to respond.

Overall, the house was fine and had what we needed for our stay, but there were a few areas that could use some attention. The master bed was super saggy in the middle and very uncomfortable, the some of the pillows needs to be washed as the were smelly and one of the other bedroom headboards is broken. The beds in general could be a little more comfortable.It was a bit chilly during our visit, and there weren’t any extra blankets available, just the super light ones on each bed. The home also could have been a little cleaner when we arrived; the master bathroom floor and kitchen stove needed some extra attention.One thing to note is that there is quite a bit of road and train noise from Mopac. Even with earplugs, it was difficult to sleep at times, so it might not be the best choice for light sleepers.With a few updates to the beds, some added blankets, and a little more focus on cleanliness and comfort, this could be a much more enjoyable place to stay.

Disappointed and would not recommend

This was so disappointing and I will have a hard time doing a long term rental with VRBO again. When I arrived there was: food in the drawers, dirty dishes, linens not washed, not the correct size linens for the beds, the shampoo and conditioners were spilled all over the bathroom drawers, the blinds didn't cover the windows, the A/C broke, the vacuum cleaner broke, and the bed frame for the King bed in the master was completely broken, and so on and so on. I even had them come by to fix some drywall because I was going to be there for a while and it was a total half done job and they left dust EVERYWHERE in my kitchen. The property manager was IMPOSSIBLE to get a hold of and literally never responded. The owner finally got involved, and that helped marginally. I am a very reasonable person, but I paid 4 Seasons prices for 50 days and I got a motel 6. It was a difficult stay.

Great location, great stay!

We had a wonderful stay at this property in Tarrytown. The location could not have been better - great neighborhood, everything was within a 15 minute drive, Lake Travis was just 30 minutes away. Brooks and the property manager, Aidan, were both super responsive, replying quickly to any questions or requests we had. Lots of space for two families and the pool was a great addition! The pool and hot tub are connected - and both are on the smaller side. It was great for our young kids, but a bit crowded with 4 adults and 4 kids all in the pool at the same time. While the decor was cool, there was minimal seating in the main area. Otherwise, we had everything we needed, and the owner and property manager brought anything additional as soon as requested it. Highly recommend this property, we had a great time!

great house

overall a great stay. the management company was quick to respond to a few issues that we encountered upon arrival, which they attributed to not having enough time to turnover the home from a prior renter who had been there for a month… which i’m not sure is a good excuse for leaving loose ends open, given that there was no rent adjustment for our stay (like i don’t really care what happened before we arrived, it’s your job to ensure quality service for every guest, especially at these rates). that said, it’s a solid property, well designed and well contracted with good central location to the best of what austin offers. we really enjoyed the pool with our little one (9 months old). traffic on enfield is consistently heavy, and you can definitely hear it in the house and in the pool area, but the tarrytown neighborhood one street behind it is very quiet and very pleasant. it’s a 20 minute walk down to the lake austin waterfront with mozart’s coffee and the hula hut, two great choices for waterfront coffee and local tex mex. we enjoyed our stay, were pleased with the hosts responsiveness, but were disappointed that we had to reach out to solve a few issues left unattended before our arrival in the first place. these issues required multiple visits from the management company during our stay, and there was one unannounced pool service visit, which we would have appreciated a heads up. not the most private home, but could easily be solved by adding window treatments or frosted vinyl on the generous windows by the front door… and main bathroom needs more hooks to hang towels. these are details that we would expect better for this price, but otherwise a great stay.

We had a group of 7 and enjoyed our stay. The house is modern, clean and spacious. It worked out very well for our weekend in Austin. The host was extremely responsive throughout Would stay there again.

Great Stay for ACL

We were lucky to find a place to stay for ACL as everything gets booked so fast, and this one was perfect for us. Having a larger group, it can be hard to find something that accommodates everyone. There were plenty of sleeping spots, with fresh towels on each spot, which was helpful! The space was spacious and clean, with pretty much everything you'd need to enjoy your time. The pool & hot tub were the best part - we almost had more fun hanging here than we did at ACL Fest! The only downside, is that an early-checkin was going to cost us $150 each apparently - and so we had to sit outside and wait for an hour until it was exactly 4:00 to get in (assuming we'd be charged if we went in at all earlier), which then made us rushed for the festival. I think some flexibility there could go a long way in making it a more accommodating stay. Otherwise, no complaints and I would love to come back here next time I'm with a group! Thank you.

Great stay

Overall, great place for a fun extended weekend in Austin. Plenty of room and the hot tub and pool were amazing. Easy check in. Only downside was it was not entirely spotless, a couple broken pieces of furniture, and you can not leave through the front door as you are unable to lock it behind you.

Broken Furniture Upon Arrival

My best advice for booking this property is to perform a walkthrough with the property manager upon arrival. We were provided a broken coffee table, and despite documentation of the furniture already being broken, they are attempting to charge us. The table was barely standing, and whoever booked the property for the weekend of our stay would have had this issue. Not having a table for the weekend was frustrating, but we were able to make due. Other than the issues mentioned above, the house was lovely and the location was perfect to access everything in Austin.

Very accommodating and a great space

At first I was a little nervous about booking this space because of a negative review from a previous guest mentioning how they were being loud and facing repercussions. I booked this space for my 25th birthday and invited a large group of friends. While most of us are well behaved, it’s easy to get too loud unintentionally. This ended up being no problem and anytime we hit a certain volume while in the pool or hanging outside at night I would receive a text notification warning. In short, noise/volume isn’t as subjective as it typically would be and it’s easier to monitor ourselves/respect the neighbors. The location itself was great. No more than 10 minutes to rainy or 6th street which was nice since we had to call multiple Uber’s. The home itself was beautiful, had a lot sleeping space, and had quality furnishing. Great surround sound. We would leave the back door open while in the pool and could hear it well and at night before the bars we would shut the sliding door and we were able to play music pretty loud inside. It was my first time in Texas and it was great to have a pool there. Only thing I would change is making laundry detergent accessible since we went through the towels so quickly. The communication at the beginning of the trip wasn’t very clear because I hadn’t received a link to sign the contract and when I did, I was only looking for emails from vrbo not a rental company. Once that was all squared away there were no issues and communication was great. The host even let me add two people late that I knew would be coming over frequently during my stay. Overall I would recommend staying here to any group of people I know! Great space, solid communication, easy checkout instructions, and as long as you and ur guests are respectful of volume at night you’ll be good!

Fantastic location, solid house

Location is truly amazing. Seems to be 5 minutes away from everything. Is such a great point to explore Austin. The only con is some of the furniture was falling apart (end table leaning, broken lamp, big bedroom walk in shower had door installed wrong ). Small stuff. Looks like an Ikea demo house. But the cleanliness and location was top notch. Pool is small, but really nice. In fact, the outside area, while small, is really nice and comfortable. Plenty of beds and the triple bunk bed was a big hit.

Nice Austin Getaway

Modern, clean house with nice pool and hot tub. Kitchen very nice with the essential utensils and dinnerware. Had a minor problem with communication prior to gaining entry. Extra charges for early check in or late check out (2 hrs) shouldn't be charged for this pricey property. Also, can hear street noise in master bedroom. (Cars and trucks whizzing by)
