「This historic property is so close to the shops and restaurants of Manuka that we could walk to them as if they were extensions of the house itself! Because we were in Canberra as visiting professors at ANU, our stay was an extended one, and we often worked at the house and walked over for morning and afternoon teas in Manuka. The whole neighborhood became our home, and that made it a very lively, interesting place to live.」

「We were very happy with our stay here. Great location - 10 minutes from all tourist hotspots in a quiet residential area. Close to public transport. The house was very clean and thoughtfully the heating had been turned on to ensure a comfortable temperature when we arrived. The hosts had great communication with prompt replies to any requests. 」

「Spacious with a very nice location and great view of the lake. It's missing key kitchen items like drinking glasses, salt and pepper, cooking oil and cleaning supplies that would have made our stay more comfortable. Could have used a few extra towels and maybe some blackout blinds for the rooms that get a lot of light due to the nice large windows that walk out to the balconies. Overall a really good stay for a large group. The host was great with check-in times and communication.」
