The rooms could use a little fixing but overall it's a great value for Catalina! We book a cottage at Hermosa every year and always have a great time. The staff is very friendly, especially Alex at the front desk! He really made us feel welcome and we will be returning again next year:)

Very outdated, no elevator so I was braking my back to get up three flights of stairs. Room is very small, didn’t have enough room to even open my full suitcase. The girl who works there was the reason why I liked it, she was so sweet and made me feel comfortable.

The bed was clean and comfortable and nice refrigerator. Convenient location. The overhead fan was on full blast the whole time and the fan lights were off. Mold on the shower entry. No place to hang clothes and no drawers. I would not stay there again unless it was completely refurbished.

Thank you hermosa hotel for the last min get away, i booked a cottage and everything was great nothing to complain about, if i did have too I would say the AC unit was definitely out dated and loud but it got the job done for the hot cottage and the shower was sooooo tiny. I would rate this place a 8.5/10

We knew the property was old but had no idea how basic it was. It didn’t feel clean, the tv didn’t work, the ceiling light worked half the time, the refrigerator wasn’t working properly, and the kitchen wasn’t usable. We realize it was unusually hot weather, but the staff should have pre-cooled the rooms before we checked in. It was unbearably hot. The staff wasn’t helpful beyond basic assistance. We would not recommend this site.

We stayed in one of the Hotel Hermosa cottages. It was perfect for the two of us. The bedroom had air conditioning and a ceiling fan. The kitchen had a mini fridge with freezer, microwave, pot and pans and utensils, everything you needed if you just wanted to stay in and make something to eat. And of course a bathroom with essentials. It was the cutest little cottage and we would stay again.
