Great staff, clean but very dated rooms. Full kitchen . Location is great but don’t recommend if you are not willing to walk up hill. We used the transit Circuit. Very reasonable at $2 per person.

The bed mattress was uncomfortable, we kept falling into the middle of the bed. The room itself was bland. Zero character. Also they had all the rooms available overlooking the town and the put us in the “basement” with a view of the tires of a golf cart. There wasn’t a screen on the patio door so we couldn’t even keep the door open at night because of the lizards and snakes in the area and we desperately wanted fresh air and to listen to the birds. The place itself was extremely run down. Very poor condition. Alexi at the front desk was very sweet and kind. Sh was the only bright spot in that miserable place.

The hotel was old, we got trapped in an island, we left next day and the hotel staff didn’t check us out.

Staff was courteous. The rooms need so serious renovation. When I walked into my room it felt like a flashback into the 80’s. Room was clean and location was good. Bed comfort was lacking. Not sure why they charge a resort fee as the only thing available is a small jacuzzi. My next trip to Catalina Island I will be staying at a different location.

The staff was good and the view too. What ruined our night was an unexplained bright red stain on the cover sheet which then had us concerned about the hygiene of the room. We slept somewhat uncomfortably because of this.

Although the front desk staff was courteous and professional, the assigned room was not suitable or safe for occupancy. Upon entering the room, there was a strong and unpleasant odor. The bathroom floor felt soft and squishy underfoot, which raised concerns about potential water damage or structural issues. The room was not properly cleaned, with visible dust present throughout. Additionally, the window frames were deteriorating, and the window tinting was severely wrinkled, making it impossible to see outside. This contributed to an overall feeling that the room was unsafe and poorly maintained. Due to these conditions, we did not feel comfortable or safe staying in the room and had no reasonable option but to leave and seek alternative accommodations.

The room was old with many of the bedding and couch appears to be worn or quite old. The walls were so thin that we can hear our neighbors pretty well. The refrigerator was so old, the motor was super loud and kept me up. I understand it is on an island so 3 star is the best I can give.
