「Room smelled like smoke they offered to move us we declined」

「En el desayuno, se les acaban los ingredientes muy rapidísimo y no surten, las mesas estaban sucias después de cada cliente, bueno esto fue un sábado que estaba de encargado un joven, el domingo fue un poco mejor, estaba de encargada una señora y ella si limpió después de que se retiraba cada cliente.」

「The room was in great condition and the staff were super courteous. My two main problems were that the electronic lock was dead upon arrival and someone had to come fix it the next day. Once it was fixed, they didnt put it to the origional code, so I got locked out of the apartment when I went downstairs. The second problem that was nexer fixed was the hot water. For such a cold week in Illinois, I had hoped that the water would be hot enough to chase away the cold, but alas, it was not. I...

「Toilet ran all night, lights in main room did not work, staff did not make people follow the 10:00 quiet time, milk was spoiled in fridge, a/c blew hot air. Reached out to staff and corporate during our stay and was given some lies about reimbursement and being contacted “within 24 hours.” Worst experience at a Holiday Inn」

「The pictures for this property are false advertising. When you drive up, it is apparent this is a motel and it is being used as both an extended and short term by various people. Take from that what you will. Felt extremely unsafe. The staff seem uninterested at check in, almost like I was bothering them. Ultimately, I left and ended up staying at another hotel altogether out of concerns for my safety and the safety of my rental car overnight.」

「Do not stay here! The manager/staff/owner of the franchise are terrible to their guests and also bigots who make assumptions about people based on race. Within seconds of an interaction with my (black) husband, the manager threatened to call the police after sternly and aggressively asking “what’s your room #?” Instead of a “good morning, how are you” or “how did you sleep” as you’re getting coffee and wiping sleep out of your eyes, “WHATS YOUR ROOM #, I’m calling the police”… like...

「The breakfast was really delicious, the staff were rather friendly. There are some cons. They have water fountains, very pretty but some dont work and actually had trash in them. The bartender for the evening cocktail hour was overworked but also rude. I actually got upset and crued later. I didnt pay money to go on a trip and have a lady roll her eyes at me. Literally made me not want to go to cocktail hour one of the things that was a highlight of the hotwl.」
