We loved our stay!! If you love a peaceful stay but still able to listen to music, play games, have fun in the pool and hot tub then this is the place for you. Only downfall were the flies outside and mosquitoes, not sure if it was due to being there late August or aftermath of hurricane Erin but we would definitely stay at this location again!

Great Outer Banks Stay

We have stayed at outer banks a handful of times now, in the busier areas. We really enjoyed this stay as it provided the perfect calm and peaceful environment we were looking for. We enjoyed relaxing days by the pool, and cozy evenings in the house at night. It’s not a far distance at all from stores, restaurants, or other places to visit. We enjoyed are stay very much and so did our pup! We can’t wait to visit again!

Living the Island Royale Lifestyle

House is lovely. It is mostly well-maintained. A few lights burnt out and a chair that could use replacing or recovering. Other than that, it was lovely. Location is relatively close to the water which was great.

House needs many repairs. Deck boards loose. Which is very dangerous for young children on third level.Disappointed that theater tv didn’t work. House looked bigger and nicer in the pictures

Disappointed

The cleaners must have been speed cleaning that morning. Tables were still dirty and debris on the counters. Went to change the bed linen and the bed was made up with a deodorant top mixed into the bed. The pool still had sand throughout where it hadn't been cleaned. The hot tub jets did not work, basically would have been like sitting in a tub with just hot water. Notified management, nobody ever showed to fix it. Had to contact management as two of the toilets weren't flushing correctly. Contractor came out and worked on both of them, however only one was fixed. Notified management and the contractor never returned. Late one night water started dripping from the ceiling about the bed on the middle floor from a water leak. Kids had to change to another bedroom at 11:45pm. Notified management, no one ever showed up to fix the leak. It was a nice house but needs alot of work still. This was probably our worst experience with a home through VRBO.
