This was our first time to the Outer Banks and this house was and location was exactly what we were looking for. The beach is absolutely gorgeous and the house was very nice and exactly what the listing shows.

When we arrived (missed 4 days due to hurricane evacuation the day of our arrival) the house looked like it hadn't been cleaned at all. In the middle of a pandemic this was crazy. Food in the sink, no floors had been swept, poop on the toilet, just to name a few things. It was late so the following morning my husband went to the realty office. They were appalled and sent a cleaning crew over for us. This was greatly appreciated but shouldn't have had to happen. The house itself is in a great location and the porches are AMAZING. Elevator was nice for carting stuff upstairs although 2nd floor door where you need to take groceries was locked and you couldn't get out. House is pretty dated but worked for a place to sleep. Oh, and the dryer doesn't shut off. Would definitely rent from the realty company again but not the same house.
