L hôtel à sigirya où il faut aller .

Hôtel tout neuf ( 2 mois) dans la nature . Très grande piscine . Très grande chambre. Tout le confort. Restaurant simple mais bonne cuisine . Personnel à l écoute et très gentil. Le propriétaire très professionnel. Prix super compétitif. Près des lieux touristiques. Calme et tranquillité.

Rather rundown 3 stars than 5 stars

Hotel manager is very kind and funny but hotel is ratjer rundown. Feels like a 3 star hotel that has seen its best years already. Rooms are dusty, breakfast tables not wiped, every step you will see sth broken. But that is a picture we whitness nowadays in most previously highly rated hotels. Due to Covid and lock down there was no money to maintain the hotels. The humidity in sri lanka quickly destroys materials so they need constant maintenance.

A hidden little gem

The last bit of approach to the resort is through an unpaved road. So its natural to be skeptical about what awaits you. But being in a secluded area probably gives the luxury of space. I must say I was pleasantly surprised to get such a property at a fairly reasonable price. There are 2 buildings. Try to select the older one since it provides a view of the Sigriya Rock, the biggest attraction around Dambulla. I stayed in the new wing. The family room was quite spacious and overlooked lush forest. The washroom was also large sized. We ordered a la carte for dinner and dishes were well prepared. Breakfast was sumptuous as well. Since there were a lot of cancellations due to Covid, the staff was always around to help the few guests. They kept chatting us up to make us feel welcome. Overall a nice well run small resort.

Difficult to access. Staff needs training.

Hotel is accessible only by a really rough mud path. Upon check in, I was given a room with only one king bed. I specified preference for one king and one twin in my booking. Somehow this information wasn't submitted to the hotel. Hotel staff didn't take any initiative to resolve this issue at all until I pushed them one step at a time.

This holiday was magical. The staff was friendly, attentive and did their best to make us feel home. The pool is designed in a fantastic way, that our two years old could play freely, while we could swim right next to him. The rooms were super clean and spacious and the chef was making a special menu for every meal. This is a must stay, if you truly want to relax and break away from the usual.

The hosts were great and very welcoming. such an amazing treatment. Also the property is new and super clean. Great location and near all the best restaurants in town. As someone who travels to a different country every week, I have to say Cassandra properties are the best in terms of value.

Outstanding customer service. Manager noticed me attending dinner alone and discretely enquired about my wife. I told him she was sick and he immediately arranged for water and coke to be sent to the room. This level of perception is rare and very admirable. Really enjoyed our short stay at Cassandra resort.

Nice new hotel, they where still building. Little difficult to drive to with our own tuktuk. Food was good but expensive, but there is not really anything else in the nearby.

シギリヤロックから距離があった

静かでリラックスできました。周辺は車がないとだめで、夕食付きにして正解でした。 お部屋は清潔。ジャクジーが気持ちよかったです。 ヨーロッパの方とスリランカの方ばかりで、私らに対してとスタッフの対応がなんか違うように感じました。（あっさりしすぎている）

Bon accueil, personnel sympathique, le repas du soir est varié et très bon. Seul bémol que l'hôtel est loin de la ville, difficile d'accès et l'hôtel propose des prix un peu excessifs pour le transport. Avec "Hôtel.com" on a eu 50% sur le spa, mais il n'y a pas de spa dans cette hôtel...Donc ils m'ont proposé "un prix sur mesure avec la remise" dans un autre hôtel, mais en réalité ca été le prix plein

Lovely and secluded

We really enjoyed our stay. The hotel is a bit removed from the rest and was hard to get to as the tuk tuk drivers did not appear to know where it was. The hotel calls a tuk tuk for you when you want to go and see the various sites around. The driver we had was exceptional and very helpful. We used him for 3 days while we were there. Weather ordered room service and had some issues which were resolved very well by Jeffery the manager. He went out if his way to make amends and truly went beyond resolving the issue. Big thanks to Jeffery the manager and Dumenda our tuk tuk driver. It is people like this that make Sri Lanka a lovely place to visit. Jinn

Große, gut ausgestattete Zimmer. Das Bett war sehr bequem. Die Sauberkeit war hervorragend! Essen war super lecker. Nicht zu vergessen die herausragende Freundlichkeit des Personals! Wir haben uns total wohlgefühlt... Von der Unterkunft haben wir verschiedene Ausflüge gemacht . Dambulla, sigiriya Rock, polonnaruwa, minneriya Nationalpark . Einziger negativer Punkt war, dass die Klimaanlage hätte etwas stärker sein können. Ansonsten eine absolute Empfehlung!

Excellent ! Vue magnifique !

Très agréable séjour. Pour nous, avec la chambre la plus haute (rock view) et vue exceptionnelle sur le rocher du Lion, l'offre que nous avons eu (4 nuits avec petit-dej et dîner) est un excellent rapport qualité-prix. Piscine très agréable, avec petite visite des singes ! Personnel très sympathique, à l'écoute, très bon buffet sri-lankais (avec service au bord de la piscine le soir). Seul bémol : la douche et l'eau chaude :-) Mais, avec les chaleurs du mois de Mars, ça passe ! Nous recommandons sans hésitations !

Saapuminen hotelliin oli melko haastavaa, sillä taksikuskit tai tuktuk-kuskit eivät tunnistaneet sijaintia. Perille pääsi erittäin pieniä teitä pitkin ja paikka oli keskellä ei mitään. Hotelli itsessään oli mukava ja siisti sekä allas oli erittäin hieno. Ruoka oli keskinkertaista ja erittäin lihapainotteista.

非日常を感じられます！

ホテルの周囲は木々に囲まれてジャングルのようで、非日常感が良かったです！ 室内は清潔。歯ブラシ、ドライヤーはないですが、事前にわかっていたので問題ないです。朝、夕食と二日間食べましたが美味しかったです。夕食はお天気が良ければプールサイドのテーブル席がオススメです。星空の下でお食事ができます。スタッフもフレンドリーでストレスはないです。最低限の英語で何とかなりました。朝、晩以外はずっと外出してたので、ちょっと勿体なかったかなぁ。 スリランカ初日〜2泊だったので、良いスタートがきれました。

All staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Super clean room, with the best Wi-fi we have experienced in Sri Lanka. Buffet breakfast and dinner (don’t be put off by the buffet, it was a great way to try new local dishes) exceeded expectations and was delicious. Pool and surrounding area was well maintained. Would highly recommend.
