We’ve had a lovely stay at the Gizemli Konak. The property is absolutely beautiful and our hosts are gorgeous people. They’ve been so welcoming and kind. The breakfast is outstanding. We wish we could have stayed longer.

Beautiful guesthouse in the atmospheric old town

The guesthouse is located in a beautifully restored old townhouse, with a wonderful courtyard and tastefully decorated rooms. Breakfast was fantastic! The area is perfect for exploring with many great restaurants closeby, just a few minutes away from the boat and bus with runs to Cunda island. Menteş is very friendly, kind and helpful. I highly recommend staying here, unfortunately we only had time for 1 night.

Gözüm kapalı tavsiye ederim

Erkek arkadaşımla Ayvalık’taki üç günlük tatilimiz için konaklamıştık. İlk defa gideceğimiz için biraz tedirgindik ama hiç düşündüğümüz gibi olmadı. Harika bir yerle karşılaştık. Gerek çalışanlar gerek otel sahibi Menteş abi dünya tatlısı harika insanlar. Hem konforlu bir şekilde konaklamamızı sağladılar hem de Ayvalık civarında çok güzel mekanlar tavsiye ettiler. Odalar son derece temiz ve konforluydu ayrıca kahvaltıları ve özellikle pişileri muhteşemdi. Sayelerinde harika bir tatil geçirdik şiddetle tavsiye ederim:))

Harika Bir Otel ve Isletme Sahibi...

Ayvalik'ta kalabileceginiz cok guzel bir butik otel. Otel isletmeciligini yapan Mentes Bey ve Esine konaklamamiz suresince gostermis olduklari ilgiden dolayi cok tesekkur ederiz. Ayrica calisanlarindan Evren Bey'e de ayrica tesekkurler. Otel Ayvalik'in tam merkezinde ve Old Town a sadece 10 adim yurume mesafesinde. Hemen onunde kent tiyatrosu bulunmakta. Ozellikle Macoron bolgesindeki yapilara ulasmaniz ve modern carsiya varmaniz yureyerek sadece 5 dakika. Sahile ise yine yuruyerek 5 dk da ulasiyorsunuz. Otelin cok yakininda bulunan otopark ise ozellikle araba ile gelecekler icin bir can simidi (dar sokaklari tecrube etmenizi oneririm). Kisaca otopark sorunu da yok. Kahvaltisi gayet guzel, yerel zeytin ve zeytinyaglarini tadabilirsiniz. Ozellikle bahcesinde kahvalti yapmanizi tavsiye ederim. Oda temizligi ve genel hijyen kurallari acisindan bir sknti yok. Pandemi kurallarina calisanlar uygun bir sekilde davranmaktadir. Bir dahaki Ayvalik ziyaretim de mutlaka tekrar kesinlikle ailecek gelecegimiz bir otel...

Öncelikle güler yüzlü ve anlayışlı bi hizmet ile karşılaşmak geziye tatile çıkanlar için çok önemli. Bu açıdan güzel bir deneyim yaşadık. Temizlik, hijyen, yardımcı anlayış, kahvaltı vs vs her konuda çok memnun kaldık. Konum olarak da her yere yakın yürüyüş mesafesinde bir yer.

It has just the perfect location - in the heart of the old city. Really nice bars, restaurants and shops at walking distance. Menteş ( the owner ) was very kind and considerate and made sure we felt comfortable and had everything we needed. The breakfast was great too. We will be back for sure. It’s the best value for money.

Ayvalik icinde baska yer aramayin

Ayvalik merkezinde kalmak istiyorsaniz baska yer aramayin..Kendi cocuklarinin nasil kalmasini istiyorlarsa o sekilde yuruyor isler. Odalar tertemiz. Cok ilgililer. Çok nazik, saygili ve insan iliskilerini on plana koyan bir isletme. Kahvaltisi cok guEl, dogal kendi elleriyle hazırlıyorlar. Odalar tertemiz. Yeri Ayvalik merkezde. Otolark icin 20metre asagida bir otopark ile anlasmalilar. Biz 4 gun boyunca hic problem yasamadik. Bayram tatili icin baktığım yerler arasinda en uygunlarindan biriydi, tabi bayram tatili zamani fiyatlar her yerde ortalamalarin biraz uzerinde. Ancak fiyat/perfmans icin baska yere bakmam. İlgileri icin Neşet ve Hakan beylere cok tesekkur ederim.

Menteş Amca ve Serap Teyze'nin gelenleri müşteri değil de kendi misafirleri gibi davrandığı, ilgilendiği harika bir tatil geçirdik. Otel çok temiz, konforlu, kahvaltısı aynı ev kahvaltısı gibi. Oldukça hoş karşılandık ve kendimizi evimizde gibi hissettik. Tekrar teşekkür ediyoruz.

Room was really nice and clean. You can hear the neighbours and noises of the street but that did not disturb us. Breakast was very good! Unfortunatelly there was no hot water the whole morning when we checked out, so we had to take a cold shower. The owner and his faily have been nice all the time till the end. We already checked out, paid everything and just came bacl to pick up the luggage. Then he suddenly said we have to pay more for the laundry. It was quiet expensive so our first thought was he want to ripp us off :/ we tried to explain how we feel but he meant we can see the price list on his website (there is nothing). When we tried to negotiate the price he got very angry, let us go und shouted we are very very bad. We really have been shocked and could not understand what is going on. If he could show us a price list and give us a bill, everything would have been okay...

Εξαιρετική διαμονή!

Οι ιδιοκτήτες ήταν πολύ φιλόξενοι και ευγενικοί. Μας βοήθησαν πολύ σχετικά με τα μέρη που θέλαμε να επισκεφτούμε και γενικά σε ότι χρειαστήκαμε. Το κλίμα ήταν φιλόξενο και οικογενειακό. Τα δωμάτια ήταν πολύ καθαρά και με ωραία διακόσμηση. Το ξενοδοχείο βρίσκεται σε πολύ βολικό κεντρικό σημείο, κοντά στην αγορά και σε συγκοινωνίες. Το πρωινό ήταν εξαιρετικό με τοπικά ποιοτικά προϊόντα! Το συνιστούμε ανεπιφύλακτα!
