“The room was laid out practically with not a lot of space to sit or put things away. There was no cable tv but that wasn’t a problem since we rarely watch tv when in Toronto. Parking was located across the street via laneway under the grocery store so it was semi secure (better than being on the street) but not worry free. The main issue is that our room faced the south side (Queen street) so we could hear all the traffic including the streetcars.
All that said, the room had a rustic charm……

“As someone who travels often, I appreciate hotels with character, and Nomas Hotel definitely has its own unique charm. The location is excellent, with restaurants, cafés, banks, and other essentials all within walking distance.
The hotel offers a more boutique, self-guided experience, but help is always available when needed. The manager was friendly, responsive, and made my stay even better. I also loved the café/bar on the main floor...the lattes were fantastic.

“There is no human contact. You get a code.. you go to door beside an A&W. You go up some stairs and enter the room with a second code. Its very basic, but given the price in downtown Toronto, it was a good place to crash. Clean and tidy. If you know the neighbourhood, you hear the locals all night and there are some pretty colourful characters on the street. Room was small, so one person fine, two people.. probably cramped. Not sure I would feel extremely safe if I was a single young lady. ”

“This is not a HOTEL. This is an apartment that is being rented out as a "hotel room". When I arrived to the location, a police officer was outside and he said that it was not a hotel but a resident building. To not go into the building since it could not be safe. “The unit was spacious, well laid out, and in an excellent downtown location within walking distance to Union Station, restaurants, the waterfront, and major attractions. The balcony and views were a nice bonus, and the beds were comfortable.
