Good but missing some basics

Over from England for 4 nights as performing at Straßenfest. This hotel is rated #1 out of 4 in Backnang. In advance, I emailed the hotel to advise them that I needed 3 things: vegan breakfast food, disabled accessible room and a stool/chair for the shower. Due to a recent back injury, my mobility is bad. The Wheelchair that was supposed to be available for me (via a friend in Backnang) was not. So I spent 90% of my trip in the hotel room. There is a small lift. Our room was next to the lift to reduce walking. Couldn’t hear the lift from the room. Hot weather but no air-conditioning. We had to have windows open - being opposite the main stage the noise went on til midnight every night. Room was clean and comfortable, but no tea/coffee facilities in the room. There is a room downstairs where drinks can be obtained. However, my friend bought a kettle as we wanted tea without having to leave the room. There was no shower chair/stool provided for me, as requested, so showering was difficult. spare toilet roll was on the towel rail about 6 foot off of the floor - which I could not reach due to my mobility issues. There are no hooks on the back of the bathroom door. Towels and hairdryer provided but no robes. One of my group had dropped off vegan food. When I asked for soya milk for my cup of tea… I was given foil containers of liver paté! Once staff realised, my vegan food appeared. The staff are the best part of the hotel. Polite and helpful.

Nice hotel great location, good service

The outside of the hotels looked likef it had been attacked by spiders and should have been cleaned. The rooms were hot and should have blackout curtains or a fan. AC would be awesome. This was a return trip and they rememberd wifevwas vegan and had oat milk available.

We had check-in issues and sat waiting for 30 minutes in the sun, locked out. Online check in did not work. We had to email them once and call twice to finally get our keys. There is no A/C in the rooms and it is on a noisy street. The front of the hotel was covered in giant spiders and mosquitoes attacked me all night. Not my best stay of late. Won’t be back…

We where there for the Strassenfest, and it was very close to get there. However ,the price for one night was very expensive, for such a ask you get a night with breakfast in a four star Hotel in Perth (Western Australia) But that was possibly because of no availability elsewhere.

Negativ: Badezimmer komplett verschimmelt, nicht nur die Fugen sondern auch die Decke. Im Zimmer war ebenfalls Schimmel an der Decke. Dementsprechend hat es dort auch muffig gerochen. Positiv: Kostenlose Parkplätze, Frühstück war lecker

Das Hotel liegt zentral. Nur wenige Gehminuten in die Fußgängerzone in der man Einkaufsläden sowie gute Gasthöfe, Eisdielen, Cafés etc vorfindet. Das Zimmer war sauber und alles vorhanden was man benötigt. Der Frühstücksraum nett eingerichtet und das Frühstück reichhaltig und gute Auswahl. Das Team freundlich und zuvorkommend. Man kann das Hotel auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen.

Gut für den kurzen Aufenthalt

Das Hotel liegt in Backnang fussläufig zur Altstadt. Mein Zimmer war unterm Dach und ruhig, Fahrstuhl geht nur bis in den 2. Stock, diese Info für Personen, die nicht gut zu Fuss sind. Die Rezeption war abends nicht besetzt, die Zimmerkarte wurde über eine Schlüsselbox mit Code ausgegeben. Das Zimmer war einfach, aber alles da und gross genug für einen kurzen Aufenthalt. Das Frühstück bot alles, was man erwartet. Parkplätze gibt es kostenlos direkt vor dem Hotel, bei meinem Besuch mehr als ausreichend.
