“We loved this property. It had beautiful decorations and furniture inside the house. The hot tub was very nice. The view of the mountains outside was a wonderful place to sit and enjoy the views. I loved all the woodwork inside. It was perfect! This is probably one of the best places we have ever stayed in.”

“What an adorable place! It had everything we could possibly have needed (or wanted!)! Joe was great to work with and the place was immaculate! A perfect stay!!! Thank you, Joe!”

“A fairly cheaply built concrete cabin which is probably good for bicyclists. Unfortunately the Greenbrier Rail Trail was closed both ways due to bridge reconstruction. The amenities were great (soaps, dishes, etc) and the AC was great (especially while we were under a heat dome). Bed was uncomfortable and the sofa had a broken arm. Toaster didn’t work. Neighborhood was sketchy. Probably a good place for 2 male cyclists as long as you’re OK with bypassing the bridge closures on the road.”

“Very clean, well maintained, good communication with host. Nice location in Marlinton (very small town so within walking distance of restaurants and small stores, iga a mile or so). Good wi fi, pet friendly, plenty of coffee in a nice kitchen.”

“Owners were great. Moved their car so we could back our car to protect our bike. Food downstairs was tasty and trivia at the bar was fun. Cute town. Would recommend”

“The perfect place for two people looking for a peaceful getaway. Right on the Jackson River Scenic Trail for biking. Top Jackson River fishing and kayaking spots all within close proximity. The apartment feels large with lots of storage, full kitchen, roomy bathroom and multiple windows for fresh air. The bed and loveseat were comfy. Keep the windows open at night and drift off to sleep with the sounds of the river then wake up to the lovely songs of the birds!”

“Our stay at Danny’s rental was excellent. He provided wonderful communication, was attentive and quick to respond when needed, and the check-in process was a breeze. The apartment was clean, modern, and the arcade and board games were a hit with my nephews! There were some necessities provided, like a keurig and some coffee K-cups, plenty of plates/cups/utensils, a hair dryer, soap and travel shampoo/conditioner, and it’s helpful there is a washer and dryer with detergent provided if needed. “We had originally booked the studio apt for Jan 9 to visit an elderly parent - a family emergency came up and we had to move our visit to as soon as possible - the owner kindly allowed us to transfer the booking to an earlier date, the 5th (the day after my distressed call) at the cottage instead so other family members could stay as well. Owner is not local, so apparently did not know that the cottage was not quite prepared for guests- it was clean, but not stocked and had some repairs going……

“Perfect location for the area. I will stay there again if at all possible.”
