「This was our 2nd stay at the Asian Jewel. Our return was based on our previous experience which was lovely staff, good food, clean and spacious room. The location is out of town but was easy/cheap to get tuk tuks and being situated next to the lagoon allowed us to see lots of beautiful birds from our balcony. Would recommend and hope to return again.」

「Heel schoon en comfortabel verblijf. Hele goede wifi, en Airconditioning
2 schone zwembaden mooi aangelegde tuin.

「Television was down. They had to replace a new one after inspection. It took a while to complete this. Our room was too close to the kitchen. The noise was transferred through the venting system. That needs to be improved.」

「The owner/host and housekeeping staff were very friendly and nice to talk to. They can arrange tuk tuk for the guests and home style food was so delicous. Due to its location, guests will need to have insects repellent spray applied at all time. Overall very nice stay at villa birdlake. 」

「Pool was nice and easy to access. Breakfast served at table downstairs. Good choice and hot food option. Room comfortable, but wasn't cleaned for 2 days and had to nag them to finally do it which wasn't impressed by.. One brother is helpful who owns it and the other not so bothered. Overall it's ok despite other rave reviews all over the hotel walls. Good location for beaches and very close to Galle fort and cricket ground and central amenities.」
