“My family traveled from FL, TN, and Juneau to watch my daughter graduate from UAF. The home was everything we expected and more. The hosts were super helpful and responsive. The home is absolutely stunning and exactly what the pictures look like. The kitchen was fully stocked with coffee and other items that made our stay so comfortable. We saw two moose in the morning across the river between 5-6am, beaver, and many birds daily. I highly recommend this home.”

“We had a great stay. The unit had everything we needed. Communication was great. For example, there was a power failure during our stay, the owners were quickly responsive and offered solutions to help.”

“Nice place to stay. Neighborhood seemed weird when we first arrived but turned out to be quite and peaceful there. Apartment is as described.”

“We’ve stayed here twice and will definitely be back when we can. Close to groc stores, easy access, but sitting and watching the river makes you feel like you’re a million miles away. The owner lives next door, and is always available if you need something. The history of their family is a great piece of history and available to read in the cabin. We will definitely be back!”

“This place was excellent! Easy to get to and right across from Pioneer Park, one of the highlights of our trip. Brian was easy to communicate with and provided us with several activity options including tickets to local ball games. The apt was cute and clean and it was nice to have a place we could do laundry there. Wish we would have extended our stay there and just drove to Chena Hot Springs instead of getting a room at the springs as Brian’s place was much more comfortable. Would for sure……

“Our host, North Pole Nancy, was fantastic! We had such a great time at the property. There was plenty of wood for the fire pit, full propane grill, and also a charcoal grill. We hosted several people on a Saturday night and had a great time! We would love to stay here again. ”

The property owner gave us text message alerts about the Aurora- we had to drive away a little bit because the auroras were weak & neighbors' yard lights too bright. -I enjoyed having our own separate cabin & the large expanse of corner windows to view the trees & snow & distant view. So many other reasonably priced VRBO's were basement type rooms.”

“My wife and I stayed for a short visit to Fairbanks. The cabin is clean and has all the comforts of home. The location is quiet and private and is close enough to town to be very convenient. Had a great stay!”

“I really enjoyed the stay at Jamie’s cabin. It was clean, smelled great and had everything we needed plus some. Everything was thought of. I especially loved the St. Nickerdoodle coffee. It was awesome. The best part… we saw the Northern Lights from the cabin on our first night there. I HIGHLY recommend!”

“All pots and pans and utensils had old food on them. Had to clean everything first before we could cook. The outhouse pit is quite full and the pit needs to be evacuated. The outhouse seat was quite dirty and had to be cleaned. Decks had not been shoveled all winter so were unusable. Beds were clean and comfortable.”

“It was great! My family enjoyed staying there. Except, the diesel smell upon checking in & had to use a towel to block the smell from the laundry room and using the provided air freshners. The stove was pretty old, and when turned on, it sparked up, so we werent able to use the front big burner when cooking. But other than that, it was decent.”

“Our family had a wonderful stay! This was a bucket list trip for my wife’s mother who turns 80 this year. She’s always wanted to see the Northern Lights…and we did! Once on a tour and AGAIN right over our heads at this awesome cabin. The cabin is very cozy will all the conveniences need for our family of 5. The surroundings are very private and peaceful and North Pole, AK has all you need to stay provisioned. Fairbanks is 20-25 minutes away and is a great little town. We highly recommend staying……

“This home is perfectly located between fairbanks and chena hot springs. Super cute inside. Cozy dog sledding theme is adorable! Great dog sled adventure and so nice to meet and play with the dogs! Terrific hosts too!”
