Villa Acqua Chira is located in the town of Bagheria and precisely in the fraction of Aspra, on the occidental coast of Sicily. Palermo is about 25 km away and you can go by train with a 10-minute ride to the historic center of the city. Mare apt is in a privileged position right in front of the Gulf of Palermo where you can admire the Mediterranean Sea and the bottom of Mount Pellegrino Mountain. The location allows you to admire magnificent sunsets always different with strong colors of multiple gradations, especially  red and blue."Villa apartment with bedroom, bathroom with shower, full kitchen with large living room with sofa bed with sea view, private sea descent, free private parking, AC, heating,privie patio , solarium and swimming pool (closed during the Winter months). The pool opens in May and closes in October. Guest access The Villa is set on the rock with many steps and is not recommended for the disabled.

Die Betreuung von Giacomo war hervorragend, da wir Abends anreisten, hat er uns Milch für die Kinder gebracht und am nächsten Morgen Kekse. Er war immer erreichbar und kam auch noch am letzten Abend, um zu schauen ob alles ok ist. Wie kommen wieder, Marc

Aspra, to discover!

After a long day of travelling, Giacomo, got in touch with us prior our arrival to give us some instructions. And wanted to make sure he could welcome us in his house. That was reassuring. He gave us instructions and relevant information to explore the area. And he was present and available when needed. There are steps to go down to reach the villa but not too many. The parking at the villa is for seasoned driver, can be tricky for others. The villa has an astonishing view, morning, afternoon and nigh, just as per the pictures. The kitchen is well equipped for cooks. Coffee is available, combined with his Bialetti, how better to get accustomed to Italian espresso, that was a plus for us 😊 Villa was clean, main bed was comfortable (pillow a bit thin for my habits). The sofa bed was fine for a few nights. Although the pool water was a bit cold, it was perfect for our daughter that did not seem to mind. Aspra can be reached by walking. Beautiful view of the port, with a local fish market every morning. We bought fish that we cooked at the villa, it was very good! Palermo is only 10 min away by train, which is an easy ride. And plus, there is parking at the train station. There is a grocery store nearby, in Dragheria, again, with parking. For runners, I was able to run every morning, alongside the port and further. Felt safe on the roads and everywhere I ran. All and all, I would stay there again. Merci Giacomo for making us feel at home at your home!

Lovely apartment amazing seaviews

We very much enjoyed our stay at this well situated apartment. The terrace was lovely and we enjoyed eating outside with those lovely seaviews. The owner Giacomo is very polite and explained everything about the property, and was helpful with advise on restaurants and the best way to get to Palermo, which was by train as Palermo is hectic. The only downside for us was the fan in the bathroom didn't work and smelt musty when we first went in, but once we aired the place the smell cleared. The other small issue was the towels were so small, not even bath size, so if these were replaced this is the perfect rental. Giacomo also arranged a boat trip for us which was very enjoyable, thank you.
