「nice view but the room is not clean」

「Phenomenal staff, service and great stay」

「This property clearly has a home touch to it. Very much a bed and breakfast experience. The owner is very attentive to your needs. The only thing we found lacking was a good restaurant nearby.」

「Merveilleuse place !

「Property, location and staff were great with amazing views of the lake and neighboring vineyards. Its biggest flaw is the bedroom - sagging mattress and lumpy pillows made for a very umcomfortable sleep. I didnt have a restful sleep. The carpet in the bedroom can be updated.」

「The hotel is set on a hillside facing the Douro River. Our room had an incredible view. The place is quiet and well-maintained. Our room was clean and had all the amenities of home. We enjoyed the buffet breakfast and they offered to make you eggs and pancakes. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.」

「Our stay at Octant Douro was easily the highlight of our trip to Portugal. We absolutely loved the hotel’s tranquil and picturesque setting along the Douro River. Our room overlooked the river, and we often found ourselves sitting in silence, simply taking in the breathtaking scenery and peaceful surroundings. The pool facilities were beautifully maintained and provided the perfect setting for relaxation. The restaurants were outstanding, and the breakfast was excellent, offering a delicious...

「Lovely hotel but we were too busy touring to enjoy the hotel's amenities. Would like to have stayed longer. Close to downtown and easily walkable.」

「Great location and friendly staff. The breakfast was very well served. Very good for traveling as a couple! The only downsides were the lack of pool towels and the external lights and noise, especially from the automatic air conditioning at night.」

「Beautiful surroundings and room amenities. Staff are very welcoming and helpful. We tried the spa and sauna, which was good for a relaxing vacation. Not many dining options around and we stayed in the hotel restaurant for dinner, A bit expensive than average but affordable. 」
