“Upon arrival we were immediately welcomed with polite staff, who upgraded our room to the pent house. It was an unexpected surprise that made our stay that much better, the suite was clean, delicious pastries were at our door each morning, accommodating food allergies. The location of the hotel is in walking distance to many shops and restaurants and provided off street parking. Can't wait to go back soon!! Give this 5 stars!!”

“The charm of Gardiner House is surely a draw, and there is something special about a hotel that offers even small amenities like water bottles or turndown service or daily cleaning of the room--these are lost luxuries for most hotels today! The room was clean and staff was so friendly. The location was fabulous, and the bar was gorgeous. ”

“This is a cross between a hotel, a bed and breakfast, and an Airbnb. The room had a modern feel with a King-sized bed and a modern private bathroom with a shower stall - like a contemporary hotel. There is no front desk - similar to an Airbnb - although Randy and Lisa, the gracious and friendly hosts, were available whenever we needed them. Each morning, we were greeted with a wonderfully prepared breakfast of much higher quality than your typical hotel - what one would expect from a B&B.”

“We loved the location, the layout of the loft, the kitchen and for the most part the bathrooms. At this price point, you expect perfection. The beds are adequate, but not as good as a Marriott or Hilton, one toilet ran constantly, as there must have been a small leak, we asked to have it fixed but it never was. It is a who cares complaint unless it is 2am. Finally, with the fantastic location comes plenty of street noise. Despite a few minor frustrations, I would recommend the……

“Nice hotel right around the corner from Thames street. The room was comfy, and good sized. It has the feel of a bnb. No deadlock on the door. Breakfast was nice. Lots of fresh fruit and breads. Parking is across the street and cost $20 per night. I would stay again.”
