“The Abode On the Sea is very charming. The bed was especially comfortable and the kitchen very well equipped. The view is spectacular! I especially appreciate the hot water on demand and great water pressure. The abode is very accessible to the lovely town of Winslow/Bainbridge Ferry and other attractions like several beaches, the Grand Forest and a quick drive to the Rolling Bay Area and Bloedel Reserve (a must see natural delight). “We had a terrific experience and I would recommend to a large family! This is a kind of cabin-feel get away in the woods of Bainbridge. It’s tucked away from the hustle of the quaint downtown but yet close to all you want to see. The Japanese-American Memorial was 5 min away and a no miss and the “across the road” view of Seattle is breathtaking and lots of ways to walk and enjoy the neighborhood. “Nice place - very accurate description - very comfortable for small group - Safeway Grocery store is nearby but the neighborhood seems a bit rough at night as a group of homeless were across the street at a park and aggressively begged for money.”

“The place is overall very nice and we had a good stay. The 3rd floor experienced a temporary electricity and Wi-Fi outage, but this was not the owner’s fault and beyond their control. They promptly emailed us with clear guidance to resolve the issue, which we really appreciated. My only suggestion would be for the owner to update the main contact email on Expedia (or other platforms) to the one they actively use, since emails sent to the Expedia address did not get a reply, while the app email……

“Beautiful house with a comfortable feel of home. Incredible upscale appliances and cookware in the kitchen that was stocked with plenty of cooking essentials to make meal prep easy. House was very clean on arrival and the thoughtful and intentional decor gave the home a historical heartbeat. The host was friendly, helpful, accessible, and reached out several times to ensure we didn’t have any other needs. Thank you Roland!”

“A great little stay for us while we stopped in Seattle for just a few nights. It was very comfortable after a whole week out in the Olympics. It’s in a great location and really close to a main bus route that we used to get to downtown. Host was very accommodating to our requests and quick to respond to messages. Overall would recommend.”
