Great family getaway

Wonderful property for a getaway with family. Loved that each bedroom had its own bathroom. Plenty of room to be together as a family or separate off to smaller groups.

Outstanding stay

We had an outstanding stay at Sea Urchins. The house is spacious, well decorated and equipped, and has spectacular views across the marsh. It’s a fantastic location on the quiet end of BHI, a short walk to miles of private beaches that we often had all to ourselves. Can’t wait to return!

Can't beat the view

Very private except for the cameras and trust me you are being watched :) Kitchen cabinets & supplies definitely need major overhaul. If you like to cook or entertain I think you will be disappointed there. House had a great layout and views were incredible!!

Perfect Location for Nature Lovers

We loved this house so much! Waking up watching the sunrise over the ocean and the tide rise and fall throughout the day was a dream. We love birds, and could sit on either deck and identify multiple species from each! Or take a walk across the street to the dock over the water to watch the sunset.. because there is water on either side! Comfortable beds, plenty of space! Thank you!

Best of Both Views

Beautiful home with plenty of room for two families. The view and porch overlooking the marsh was amazing and each time we had a cool breeze from the ocean - which could be seen also from the porch beyond the marsh. The setting in the trees kept the house cool and plenty of outdoor and indoor space was great. Not fenced yard for pups so had to keep on leash when we took outside. The private beach access was close by and convenient for short trips. We’d stay here again!

Great time until the storm

We had a wonderful time until tropical storm Ophelia. Because the main TV wasn’t working properly (this was really ok with us as we were trying to disconnect) we had no idea there was a storm coming. But everything worked out ok except we lost a day of sun. The setting and views from this house are just spectacular and the house is very comfortably equipped for us and our friends

Bald Head Charm and Nature

Excellent property set within the natural surroundings of BHI. Close to beach access and wonderful views of tidal marsh and ocean. Everyone of our party agreed it was the best house we've ever rented on BHI. We will stay here again.

The best of both Worlds!

This property is absolutely stunning! From the picturesque views of ocean and marsh intertwined with lush landscapes, you cannot find a better place to stay on the island. Pros: 1. Beautiful house situated in a private island 2. Split floor plan making it great for guests, more than one family, teenagers. 3. Very clean and well equipped home 4. Pet friendly 5. Dock by the house, walking trails, beach, marsh, etc. 6. Kitchen set up to bring food and immediately start cooking and or grilling 7. Screened in porch and open porches and balconies 8. Well stocked with towels, beach towels, chairs, etc. We did not have any cons with the home. We had seven people and two dogs ; all loved every minute in the house. Our only issue was not having access to the clubs. Please note that this has nothing to do with the home. The home has access, we were just not able to use it during this time. We called BHI club reservations in advance and we’re called back to say that they were fully booked but would offer us half price to go to restaurants but we couldn’t go to the pool. This was disappointing due to having teens but this amazing house made up for it!
