Excellent Stay

We loved our week at Moondance! The proximity to East Beach and Shoals Club was wonderful. The house was well kept and clean. The beds were super comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked. Cherry on top of an already great house was the rooftop deck and hot tub! We would definitely stay at Moondance again.

July 2018 Stay

Moondance has by far been our favorite vacation rental house on Bald Head Island and our family has vacationed here for many years. The owners have spared no expense to take care of their renter’s every need. The home is clean, very comfortable and beautifully decorated. We especially enjoyed the rooftop deck and hot tub. In our opinion, the location is perfect. Thank you for sharing this beautiful home. We look forward to returning to Moondance again.

Several Issues, Could Have Been Better

Loved the house. Great stay. Just a couple of notes. The margarita machine in the kitchen is nice but it is unusable. Big disappointment. The bottom blade assembly can not seal to the base of the barrel. It is missing the clamp ring. The house alarm continued to go off. We called it in and got a clear code and it worked but the following day each day it would go off again. Bad situation at night. Other than this we love the house and will be back.

Reviewer Comments: Overall, we were pleased with Moondance, our biggest issue was the Crofter being very moldy/musty smelling and I was embarrassed to ask someone to sleep in there. A better job of pest control is also needed in the Crofter. The house in general was beautiful and decorated nicely, but could have been much cleaner.

Gorgeous Property with Amazing Views

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We loved the set up and decor of this beautiful home. The location was perfect and the rooftop view was truly incredible. We have stayed at many homes on Bald Head but never had a view quite like that. We also loved the proximity to the Shoals Club, East Beach and Mike's Bites. Both carts were in great shape and really fast (always a plus getting around the island). We had a maintenance issue (leak in the upstairs bedroom) but the property manager was very attentive and compensated us for the inconvenience.

The kitchen was wonderfully stocked and this home was decorated beautifully decorated. The roof top deck is spectacular with a perfect sunrise cup of coffee ( bring your bug spray ) the location is perfect and in walking distance to the beach. Take a stroll through the neighborhood and you can see why people want to call this home. Perfection. We had great customer service and our issue was taken care of immediately. We would definitely recommend this property !
