“We stayed at this property while visiting Tallahassee for an FSU game, and found this gem about 40 minutes away from the stadium. The property is at the top of what seems to be an apartment complex with about 7 other units with tenants. It is a small unit, with a very cohesive interior design with beautiful updated fixtures. The unit itself was very clean and tidy. The inside space is a bit on the small side, but there is a very good use of space. The surrounding area was very quiet and peaceful……

“Very natural setting. Best porch sitting ever. St Marks River is your front yard. The house well stocked with necessities. Like visiting your grandmother’s house. Very cosy and sweet. Hope to come back again.”

“We enjoyed a memorable experience! The host Debbie was incredible in terms of attentiveness, flexibility and overall hospitality! As tournament anglers, we arrived at the property to find a pole barn style parking location for all 4 of our boats with power and water. The log cabin has a great full kitchen with an awesome bar filled with seating and an awesome den and dining room. The bedrooms were top notch! I highly recommend this property and this will be our Panacea "Go-To" place to stay!……

“We enjoyed every bit of our stay. The view was amazing when you sit on the deck with your coffee in the mornings. You feel like you are in a treehouse watching the world go by. Having a golf cart to ride around the community was such fun. If you are looking for a quiet getaway to just sit and relax this is a wonderful place.”

“What a wonderful cottage! The host, Sarah, went above and beyond to welcome us and make us feel comfortable. The cottage is located in a great location close to many hotspots for birding and nature exploring. Upon arrival we were greeted with delicious homemade muffins and fresh eggs that came from the neighbor’s chickens. The cottage was very clean, comfortable, and cozy. It was fully stocked with all the necessities and much more. A canoe & kayaks were available for our use but unfortunately……

“Highly recommend for a family stay. We had a wonderful time. The screened in porch is perfect for evenings and nature watching. Only a few steps to the beach and we had everything we needed. If you’re looking for somewhere to unwind and reconnect with family, this is it. We fished and drove into St George. The host communicated throughout and checked in to make sure we had everything we’d need. We will book again.”

“Just book it! It's a great house that felt secluded. It is surrounded by woods with no views of any neighbors. There are multiple porches to enjoy nature and relax. The river is a short walk to a community park with a dock. The river was absolutely beautiful. There are benches so we walked down to the dock every night to enjoy the views. We also really enjoyed being able to take out the kayaks and explore. Wakulla Springs is a 10 minute drive away and a great place to spend the day. The host,……

“Had a great stay for a football game weekend at FSU. This is a beautiful, clean home in an amazing "old Florida" setting overlooking the salt marsh. Great seafood in several Panacea restaurants. Worth the 40 minute drive to Tallahassee!”

“Carolyn was fantastic! She communicated with us early and often and made sure everything was to our liking. During the 15 years that we have vacationed in Florida, we have never had a host that did as much as Carolyn. The property is clean and well cared for and offers a Tremendous amount of peace and quiet and so close to Tallahassee. The home is a little small for the number of people that it would accommodate.
