“We had a wonderful stay at Kitty’s cottage. The cottage is so homely and feels really welcoming. It’s lovely and warm, even when the weather outside was freezing. It was super clean and very well equipped. We loved walking on the beach, which is only moments away, with such beautiful views. Driving over Galloway forest park, we stopped to feed the goats and deer, which was wonderful. You need to take your own carrots or other fruit / veg to feed them. Galloway forest is also a dark skies……

“Cabin was beautiful. Very peaceful setting and hosts just leave you to it. Door was open for us arriving and hot tub was pre-heated. Would definitely recommend.”

“Although rurally located (this is Scotland) the cottages offer access within 45 mins to many differing attractions. We enjoyed the owners excellent advice on coastal trips, high hill ranges in national park, local walks with loch swims and secluded beaches. The local town of Newton Stewart is classical delightful. Highly recommend. Would’ve liked a separate shower or screen on bath and hot water controls good when mastered. Bed super comfy and fire pit fun. ”

“This was a great find for our party of 6 and in an excellent location in Girvan. The accommodation was wonderful with well furnished spacious rooms and the kitchen was well equipped. Lovely area for walking and for golf. The only slight negative were the mattresses which could have been firmer.”

“The cottage was well equipped, comfortable and spotlessly clean. There was everything you could possibly wish for. The cottage is conveniently situated for shops, restaurants, bars and the sea front and provides a good base for touring South Ayrshire.”

“Great spot for exploring Galloway. Hot tub overlooking the forest, and walks starting straight from the cabin. Wildlife all around. Note that it is attached to another cabin & a farm, so it's not isolated - but we did feel like we had privacy. Otherwise a washing machine could be a good addition. Dave & Becky were very helpful, we'd definitely come back!”

“This property may have been okay for an overnight or maybe two but lacked a lot of the necessities needed for period of time. Shower was a challenge. Unable to communicate with the host do to a country cell phone difference. No WiFi, etc…”

“We stayed 6 Nights and found a cottage with very modern furniture, all you Need in the kitchen, own BBQ Grill Outside including Picnic Area. Allthough Its in the countryside, with a lot of nature around (trees, River, sheep, Cattle, birds and Flowers- you have a stabile wifi Connection. So What ever you seek- you are able to totally relax and disconnect or connect via the net. The Host family is Nice and live also on the ground in case you Need anything. Galloway Forest Park is nearby with walks……
