Fabulous well-located property. Very convenient for exploring Deeside. The large eat-in kitchen had everything we needed to cook and gather together. Just wow! Secluded location within 3 mins drive of the centre of Ballater. One, if not the best place we have stayed at. Lovely little town with lots of gift shops and friendly staff.
Raining at the time so we did not visit village properly. Breamar castle well worth a visit.
Excellent cafe in Ballater called The Bridge. Staff at Duke of Rothesay Pavillion Braemar were attentive but lady on till needs to greet her customers with s smile !
Ballater is a fantastic place that I have been visiting for years. Plenty of amazing trails to walk while admiring the breathtaking scenery. The locals are friendly and the food is good.
