It was cozy place. We didn’t stay there much was just for sleeping overflow bc we live in area. Could use lamps for nicer ambience but overall spacious and so handy for us.

Beautiful place with friendly owners who are great with communicating. Bancroft is a beautiful, quaint little town, the perfect getaway to truly unwind. The bed was big and very comfy, everything was very clean and well thought out. If I were to say anything negative it would be that the duct cleaning services could use a call, but it truly is the perfect place.

This property was a very clean space. It was perfect for our couple getaway. We really appreciated the comfortable king size bed and over sized soaker tub. It had everything we needed. Lovely location. We wish we could have stayed longer.

The place is in a great location. Can visit Eagle's Nest lookout. Half hour drive to nearby lakes .

We had a wonderful 2 nights stay. Quiet, clean and quaint home with beautiful 2 bedrooms and bathroom. Tastefully decorated. Kitchen is perfect for that morning cup of coffee or tea. View of the river and park. Can walk along the river trail. Foodland groceries is close by to stock up the big fridge. Couldn't get the TV to work. Wifi signal is good. We will definitely be booking this home again. Cleaner did a great job and host management is excellent. In order for more people to enjoy and take advantage, guests must also do their part in not trashing some of these beautiful vacation rentals.

Bancroft In Town

Main level of a house. This appeared to be a brand new reno. The finishes were very nice, not your basic rental cast offs. The living room furniture was VERY comfortable. Washer/dryer. Soaker tub (room for two) and separate shower. Back deck overlooks the York River. Right in town. Perfect if you want to close to amenities. Owner was quick to respond to inquiries while we were there. The kitchen was well equipped. Great stay

Decent overall

We were only made aware half an hour before arrival that there was also a rental in the other half of the house. There was only 1 thermostat for both units, so that created a dilemma. Overall, very clean , comfortable, and would likely rent again.

A little misleading

Great house, clean and modern!! Very convenient for what we needed. However, when it states Netflix, Disney+ etc in the listing, i expect to find that and not use my apps to get any sort of TV programming
