Wonderful staff

The in-villa team are the most helpful and friendly people. Nothing is too much trouble for them. The villa is immaculately cleaned daily. If I were to have one minor gripe it would be that there is a lack of comfortable seating.

Stunning property with views of the mountain side. Staff were amazing nothing was too much trouble. This is not the place to go if you want the hustle and bustle of Kuta. If you want a relaxing trip with natural sight seeing this is the place. This home is a mansion, complete with an amazing cook driver and security.

Birthday in the jungle

The house was very nice and kept very clean by an amazing staff who truly made the experience magical for my daughter and I! A large 4 bedroom / 4.5 bath home had plenty of indoor and outdoor room; plus a large pool with a great ocean view abutting the jungle!

Great villa with even greater staff

Reidy and Ana make you feel at home straight from the beginning. So friendly and service minded. The villa is beautiful. Spacious, very clean, big pool, ocean view. Only downside we foumd is that you are quite far from Lovina center. More tham an hour walking so scooter or car is needed.

We’re struggling for words to sum up our stay. It was perfection, nothing was an issue for Ana, Redy or Eric during our stay. The food was amazing, the villa was clean and they took us everywhere we wanted to go to make sure we experienced the true Balinese culture. We had a friends big birthday and they did an amazing job of organising a traditional Balinese birthday. We’d highly recommend staying here with Redy and co the villa was just beautiful.

Good potential but beware of hidden charges

My husband and I stayed here for 5 nights out of our honeymoon. The villa is beautiful and looks just like the pictures. It’s in a quiet, secluded location with a fantastic view, which also means it’s a bit far from the main streets of Lovina. The villa also has staff who were very welcoming to us (Redi and Ana) and who will do your laundry, drive you to the town, cook meals, etc. This is where the issues arose for us. The staff was somewhat upfront about the costs of the meals - you pay them to shop for ingredients (but then you also pay a flat rate per dish on top of this) and they will cook for you. However, Redi the driver told us that Grab was not available in the region and insisted on driving us everywhere we needed - on the 4th night out of 5, we received a bill requesting 300K rupiah for each local ride he gave us (around 1.5 million total or so). The issue here is that 1 - we were never told we were being charged for the rides. 2 - These rides were blatantly price gouged as it turns out Grab was available the entire time and rides go for between 12,000 - 30,000 rupiah. We reached out to the host for clarification and did not receive a response. We believe this villa has potential, but in the end were left feeling very slighted and taken advantage of.

Family celebration

We arrived at the villa after a long journey tired and jet lagged. The welcome we received from the staff was incredible. So warm and inviting. During our whole stay Redi Anna and Komang went out their way to make our holiday as special as we wanted it to be. We felt like family. I had a mile stone birthday while I was there and they helped my family organise a fantastic celebratory day out (dolphin spotting) and traditional Balinese meal…along with a birthday cake and floral displays around the villa. I felt incredibly honoured and humbled by their efforts. The villa is in the jungle near Lovina. We had monkeys in the garden most days and they took great pleasure in watching us in the pool. The villa itself is just how it looks in the photos even though it is ten years old, you will not be disappointed. We only ate out one day as Anna‘s cooking was authentic and delicious. Redi went out of his way to make our stay as good as it possibly could be and catered to our every wish. Komang was always on hand and ready to help with such kindness. If you want a holiday that recharges the batteries with that tropical touch, villa jempiring is the place. I warn you though..the roads in the area are unlike anything I have ever experienced, but wow what an an adventure, one that I would love to repeat.

Incredible Must Stay!

Villa Jempiring was an absolutely phenomenal stay. The views were stunning, the house was gorgeous, and the staff were so friendly. The location in northern bali was perfect because it gave you a chance to get away from the super touristy areas and see the real beauty of the island. I cannot emphasize enough how amazing the staff was going above and beyond for us- cooking, driving, and accommodating our itinerary- and also the gorgeous panoramic views. This is a must stay!

Villa pandu

We recently stayed at villa Pandu for 10 nights and had a lovely time. Everything was just perfect from the villa to the staff and Paul the owner. The staff can not do enough for you cleaning cooking fabulous meals very cheaply. You do need to use the driver that is available as it is quite remote but it’s not a problem as he is available whenever you need him. We would not hesitate to stay here again and look forward to planning our next trip.

Great staff! Great Views! Some issues!

First, the positives! The villa is very nice and is in a very pretty, isolated location on the side of a hill looking down a valley to the sea. The staff was terrific and couldn`t have done more to make us happy. The house was immaculate and well maintained. All our drivers and transportation were very good and competent. Now the negatives. We had planned to stay for 3 weeks but unfortunately had to leave after a week because we were awakened every day at 4-5 am by loudspeakers broadcasting from the valley. A good nights sleep was not possible. This was repeated multiple times daily and was so loud it seemed the loudspeaker was right next to the house. In addition, the owners apparantly built the house to accomodate very tall people so the sinks were all raised, as were the beds. My wife had to stand on a portable bench in order to wash her hands and face. The 3rd floor guest room,the largest, with the best views, was not usable by us as the temperature in the glass enclosed room could not be sufficiently reduced by the air conditioning, so we were forced to use a smaller room on the middle level. Finally, Lovina is a great place to get away and "veg" out. The restaurants are not "haute cuisine" but are ok. The prices are low and the atmosphere is fine. Traffic, on the other hand, is AWFUL! The people are uniformly gracious and welcoming and are a delight to converse with. You can still see a bit of "old" Bali here. .

Absolutely Amazing

First and foremost the pictures don't do this place justice. Villa Jempiring is a hidden paradise with an amazing ocean and forest view. The serenity this place brings, will have you booking your next visit before you leave. I can't say enough about the wonderful staff. They made us feel so loved and welcomed. Rotna's banana pancakes are to die for. Ladies make sure you request a massage, they will come to you at the Villa (AMAZING). Don't pass this place up, I promise you won't regret it.

Great Stay!

Enjoyed and would recommend Villa Jempiring! This was the first time we have rented a place with staff. Angelique provided us with all of the necessary information for the villa. Ratna, the housekeeper and chef, made dinner for us each night! The two men were excellent cleaners, pool maintenance and gardeners. View was spectacular but nothing was within walking distance, so a driver was needed. The staff was available to arrange rides and answer questions about the area. Great stay!

Friendly staff but we left after one night

We were unlucky to experience a massive moth migration on our first night that ruined our stay. There is no contingency against that so decided not to take the risk on the remaining nights. Other than this act of nature, there were a couple of things that sour our experience as well - 1. The rooms are tight (perhaps due to the extra long poster bed 2.2m), enough to open suitcases and some walking space. 2. Property description did strangely mention that the villa is for tall people. The beds are uncomfortably high and the bathroom sinks are also set higher than usual. 3. Pool water wasn't clean. Overall we felt underwhelmed (given the rave reviews we read) and did not enjoy our stay. On the positive side, the team of local staff and property manager are friendly and helpful, so that's 2 stars for them.

We had a week in this lovely villa. there is everything you need to get an amazing vacation. Great villa and fantastic staff. I can not with words tell how amazing the view is. Remember to take the trip to see the dolphins in the morning. just ask the staff, to help you

Sehr schöne Villa in Hanglage über dem Meer

Die Villa liegt in einer ruhigen Villengegend auf einem Hügel in Temukus. Die Lage ist sehr schön, wir haben Motorroller gebucht, um sehr flexibel Ausflüge in die Umgebung zu machen. Landschaftlich hat der Norden Balis deutlich mehr zu bieten, als der touristisch deutlich stärker frequentierte Süden der Insel. Wir werden zukünftig deutlich mehr Zeit in Norden verbringen. Für Strandfans: die Strände sind schwarz und relativ schmal, im Süden u.E. also deutlich schöner. Die Villa ist riesengroß, sehr gut ausgestattet und verfügt über einen traumhaften Pool. Sie sieht genauso aus, wie auf den Fotos und ist sehr gepflegt. Wir würden sie jederzeit gerne wieder buchen. Das Team vor Ort ist sehr nett und erfüllt einem wirklich jeden Wunsch, also nochmal einen ganz herzlichen Dank an Jelita, Komang und Putu (ich hoffe, wir haben keinen vergessen...). Mit dem Muezzin, der früh morgens (wirklich früh) zum Gebet ruft, kann (muss) man sich arrangieren. Ansonsten ist das Haus für große Menschen gebaut. Die Armaturen in den Bädern sind sehr hoch angebracht, es gibt aber Podeste für die Normalgewachsenen, also keine Einschränkungen in der Nutzung.

Flawless in ever aspect!

The pictures don’t do the villa justice. It is amazing! The staff are what truly make this place a hidden gem. We wanted to be away from the super touristy areas, but have the ability to go see those places for day trips. This was perfect. Our driver, August, was also an invaluable asset in helping us decide where to go and what to do. Angelique’s communication and assistance were top notch. This trip was literally FLAWLESS! Do yourself a favor and skip the crowded beaches if Kuta and truly experience authentic Bali!!!

Lovely Luxurious Lovina at Villa Jempiring

Love Lovina, North Bali and stay at Villa Jempiring! This was the first time we have rented a place with staff. Angelique was a pleasure to deal with prior to our arrival. She gave us a booklet detailing the duties the staff would perform during our stay. It even included a menu of breakfast, lunch and dinner choices. Ratna, the housekeeper and chef was PERFECT! The brothers, Komang and Redi were excellent cleaners, pool maintenance and gardeners. We felt like a Queen and King. The place and location is amazing and you will totally relax. The villa is AWESOME! AC in bedrooms worked great, very nice modern bathrooms and comfortable beds. The infinity pool overlooking the forest and Bali Sea is absolutely mesmerizing. We enjoyed it so much, we added another five days onto our stay for a total of 12 days. We never felt the staff was intrusive at any time. I actually had tears saying good-bye to them….they are very special and will take excellent care of all your needs. We felt totally safe there, especially with Nyoman, our night guard for any emergency we might encounter. We took a day adventure to snorkel at Menjangan…..the live coral and fish diversity was amazing! I've snorkeled all over the world, Great Barrier Reef, Caribbean, Florida Keys, Belize, Curacao, Hawaii, American Samoa and Taiwan…..nothing compares to Menjangan. Highly recommend! Also Spice Beach Club has the best ribs in town….their sauce is amazing! We are already discussing our next trip to Bali and will stay at Villa Jempering for at least a month!

prachtige villa

De villa was prachtig en groot. Uitzicht fantastisch. De dames waren lief en kunnen uitstekend koken. We hebben hier meerdere malen heerlijk gegeten. Enig minpuntje...de villa zit boven op een berg met een hele steile weg omhoog, alleen met Agus (supervriendelijke taxi heer) kom je ergens als je op pad wilt, dus als je even je benen wilt strekken om een ommetje maken, dat is geen optie. Verder uitstekend verzorgd en zeker de moeite waard om nog eens terug te komen. !!!

Beutiful villa with fantastic staff.

Beautiful villa with wonderful views. The staff spoil you all the time. We had a friends 60th birthday. The villa was ideal enough space for your own privacy and plenty of areas to get together. We enjoyed the bar by the pool. Only suggestion icemaker for cocktails, we kept running out of ice.

A beautiful place to stay with absolutely stunning views!

We went here for our honeymoon and would recommend others to stay. The staff was amazing and cooked delicious food. The property was clean, relaxing by the infinity edge pool, and was a short drive from the downtown area. We had a great time, thank you so much!!!

The Perfect Villa

Everything about this villa is perfect. The location is up a steep hill away from any roads and located only with a couple of other villas within the same company. This gives almost unbroken serenity and privacy. The views across the valley and down to the sea are among the best I have ever seen. The furnishings luxurious but with a fantastic homely feel. The kitchen is better equipped than any other villa I have stayed in. The pool is as good, if not better than the pictures show. It is however the staff that make this place special. They keep the villa supremely clean, are extremely friendly, the food they prepare is of the highest quality. Nothing is too much trouble for them and they do all of this while remaining discrete and unobtrusive. I will be recommending this villa (and its sister villas) to all of my friends without reservation and I will be returning at the first opportunity.
