Ideally situated just 15 minutes from the charming town of Banner Elk, where you can enjoy winter snow skiing, snowboarding, ice skating, sledding, and snow tubing. Activities abound in all Seasons, with concerts, mountain biking, fishing and more. For a more relaxing outing, Banner Elk Winery is just down the road, offering wine tastings and live music. The property is also conveniently located 18 miles from Boone, 23 miles from Blowing Rock, and only 10 miles from the village of Valle Crucis, home to a picturesque riverfront park and the historic Mast General Store. Nestled on pastoral land with wooded and mountain views, Shawnee Ridge Lodge offers the perfect blend of accessibility and seclusion. Whether you're exploring High Country attractions or savoring the tranquility of this private retreat, Shawnee Ridge Lodge delivers an exceptional mountain living experience.
Shawnee Ridge Lodge is a delightful log home that accommodates up to 19 guests, offering a cozy atmosphere with warm, inviting decor and high-quality furnishings. Designed for comfort and relaxation, this spacious retreat provides plenty of room for your entire group to unwind and enjoy. The main level features an open-concept living space with a vaulted wood ceiling, large windows, and a touch of rustic elegance, creating the perfect setting for gatherings. In the evenings, relax in the hot tub, fire up the gas grill for a delicious meal, savor a glass of wine as the sun sets, and cap off your night with S'mores around the fire pit.
The spacious, fully equipped kitchen is designed with both style and functionality in mind. It features modern appliances, ample counter space, a large basin sink, and generous storage to accommodate all your cooking needs. The kitchen seamlessly flows into the dining area, which offers seating for ten at the indoor table. Sliding doors from the dining area lead to the deck, where an additional teak dining table provides a perfect spot for outdoor meals. The expansive deck also includes plenty of comfortable seating, ideal for lounging with a good book or simply soaking in the views. The dining area connects to the great room, a warm and inviting space with a stacked stone gas fireplace, a mounted TV, and cozy seating, making it perfect for relaxation and quality time with family and friends.
