“The host, Mandy, was there when we arrived and gave us a lesson on the locking system. She was very pleasant and helpful. The cabin was perfect for the two of us. We were very comfortable in the downstairs room with the fireplace and bigger tv. We did wish for local channels to check the weather (and World Series scores on, tho). We were a little bummed that the hot tub wasn’t turned on when we got there the first day, therefore we couldn’t use it until the next day after it had warmed up. “Wonderful stay! We really enjoyed our time at Sweet Retreat. Owner was extremely friendly and responsive and the chalet had everything we could possibly need. It is beautifully decorated with nice upgraded bathrooms and skylights for natural lighting. Great view from balcony. Kitchen has very nice appliances. I liked that it was high enough up for a beautiful view but not so high up that driving up to it would make your stomach turn. Very private at a dead end road. Quick access to Sugar……
