“I loved the room the most. the decor is not basic nor is it overwhelming. the bathtub was amazing. bed was clean and comfortable. pillows were too flat for me but to each his own.”

“We only stayed two nights, but it is in a good area and is walkable to Beal Street. The rooms are clean and the staff were very friendly. Was a little concerned about the railroad tracks on the backside of the hotel but I only heard one train a night and it was before midnight. The pool area needs some cleaning as a bit of a mess after the heavy rains. Overall a nice place to stay.”

“My husband and I love this hotel! We stay here often when we come to Memphis. It has easy parking, is right next to Beale st, next door to the Fed Ex Forum, and within walking distance of all downtown attractions. It’s quiet despite the closeness to Fed Ex Forum and Beale. It’s always spotless, the beds are incredibly comfortable, the staff always friendly, and the bar/restaurant is awesome. This visit we were celebrating our wedding anniversary. When we were checking in, they overheard us……

“This hotel is located only a 10 minute walk from Beale Street. The hotel personnel are very friendly and helpful. The hotel is very clean, and although it doesn't have a complimentary breakfast, a fantastic cafe next door is available for a fabulous breakfast. Huge homemade biscuits and wonderful jams are available there. We loved their coffee and their Christmas jam!”

“This location was perfect for walking to most things we wanted to see. We walked to Beale Street, Rock and Soul Museaum, Peabody Hotel, waterfront. We drove 15 min. to Graceland and 5 min. to the Civil Rights Museum. Our room had a view of the Mississippi River and bridges which light up at night with a colorful display.”

“There was a huge security presence. It made me feel very secure in this area of town.”

“A bit disappointed when I got into the room, as found the cups at plastic, there is no water boiler, no slippers, no toothbrush. The worst thing is, there is kind of caramel smell in some of the towels (I don't know where it came from, but not dare to use it). The wifi in room is not free, for US$9/day I rather get a SIM card, the LAN is not working. Anyway the breakfast and dinner I had is ok, but for business trip I won't stay here again as there are other choices near airport, I don't see……

“We stayed for one night only. Check in was easy and stuff was friendly. Even though property needs upgrades, facilities and room was clean. Plenty room to park ”

“The View of the Mississippi River from our room (1112) was spectacular!! We couldn't keep our eyes off the windows both day and night! The bridges light up at night and do a light show, we also were fortunate to see amazing firework shows two nights from the comfort of our room! But the river is mesmerizing from the large picture windows!! Definately a huge highlight!! The staff was friendly and helpful! The location of the hotel is wonderful! We walked everywhere, or ended up taking the the……

“The room was clean and comfortable, with all the basic necessities. The highlight was the breakfast bar, which offered a good variety of fresh and tasty options each morning. Although the hotel doesn’t have many amenities, its central location made it convenient for exploring the city. The staff were friendly and helpful, making sure all our needs were met. Overall, it’s a solid choice for a short stay in the city.”

“Comfortable bed! Shower was good, could have been cleaner! Room was stocked well with all amenities. Nice bath towels. Air conditioner didn't cool till 5:30 am. Kept reading 74, which was warm. It was 90 outside. TV didn't have many channels to watch. Breakfast was good.”

“The building is very unique, and possibly historic. The rooms are very nice and clean, and the staff was wonderful. I would definitely recommend this hotel.”

“The establishment was decent quality I did notice some construction supplies in the front area so maybe they are renovating. Our room was on the 2nd floor all the way at the end of the hall opposite the elevator so it was difficult for me to walk that distance due to severe arthritis in my knees. Our room upon first glance looked clean but the Window had some substance on it on the inside as well as a grease like substance on the mirror which was kind of suspicious. Over all I would stay again……
