The location was very good for visiting Bar Harbor and Acadia Park.
Everything was fine - bed very comfortable - staff friendly and very helpful and responsive - good space & very clean. The only criticism is that the bathroom could use more updating: newer & more comfortable toilet (higher, oval shaped toilet), plus a new tub/shower area, and especially shower head with better water pressure.

A good motel, a little tired looking in places, staff friendly and helpful, breakfast was a welcome bonus
Its a small place but very friendly and accommodating to whatever you needed. Had a kitchen that supplied, pot, pans, silverware, glasses, dishes, dish towel and pot holder Also had microwave, refrig, coffee pot. Close to Acadia Park, and everything we wanted to see in that area. Across the street was miniature golf and across from that was a great BBQ place that we loved. Would definetely go back. Very friendly staff.
Great location to visit Bar Harbor and Acadia as well as surrounding area. A bit out dated but very well cared for. Would stay again if in the area.

Good place to stay only about 10 minutes from the main area of shops and restaurants in bar harbor. Room was clean and spacious, very basic no frills but that works for us.

The hotel is okay and clean. Facily is old. Tab water pipe is unfunctional with weak flow.
Great room for the value.
...a mile or so from an Acadia entrance...
If you are looking for luxury, go up the road and pay 800 a night, but if you need a nice, friendly, economical, clean place to stay after exploring Acadia/Bar Harbor, look no further than Acadia Pines!

Looked for an affordable place near Bar Harbor. And Acadia Pines fit the bill.
No frills, decent location and a vintage style motel.
Very near to one of the park entrances.
The location of this property was very convenient to Acadia National Park entrance. The rooms were very spacious and clean. The bathroom did need a little work, a good clean, paint and repairs.
Admittedly not to be confused with a five star hotel, but this older motel is charming, quaint, and clean. We enjoyed a comfortable King bed and a light breakfast was included. The staff was friendly. We were delighted, and extended our stay by an extra night.

If looking for an affordable last minute rate to do an overnight trip to explore Acadia National Park and Mount Desert Island, this is a great option. It was clean, safe, and right across the street from mini golf; an affordable, tasty BBQ restaurant; and overpriced ice cream shop.

Great location and the staff were very friendly. Loved that it was near some restaurants and across the street from pirates cove. The room itself is very outdated and could use a lot of improvements, especially for what you pay.
The bed was very comfortable. Just a very nice place to stay, and we would definitely come back. The bathroom is a bit dated with a very low toilet, but all-in-all, the room was very good. The owners/managers are friendly and helpful.
