Such a charming B&B in an historical summer mansion. Delicious homemade breakfasts and tea, coffee and baked treats in the afternoon. About a mile from downtown Bar Harbor and only a few minutes to Acadia National Park.

Beautiful facility, well appointed and fantastic location! Stefan, the Inn Keeper was very knowledgeable about the homes history which is incredible to hear. All the staff were very friendly! So glad we stumbled across this gem!

Loved the quaint feeling! Perfect location to Acadia & Bar Harbor. Upon arrival our flights were delayed, so I contacted the property to make them aware of a late check in. They left us our room key & made the check in process seamless. Rooms were very clean. Breakfast was good & unique every morning! Also, a plus- you are able to use the amenities (pool, hot tub, fitness center) at the property next door. Would stay here again 😊

Property is clean and beautiful. The beds and pillows are comfy. Stairs to rooms are narrow and require care going up and down. The fragrance used is a bit overwhelming- very hard to tolerate if you have a fragrance sensitivity.

I had the loveliest stay at the Cleftstone Inn. To start, the staff is welcoming, kind and attentive. From the moment you check in, you feel right at home as you get acquainted with the property and your room. The property has such a homie feeling and my room was quaint but chic. Breakfast and tea time had to be my favorite part of the Inn as there were always different options to choose from and everything was so tasty! I will definitely be returning to the Inn and bringing friends with me. Thanks to all the staff that made my stay so pleasant. Keep up the excellent service!

My friend and I visited Maine/Bar Harbor for the first time and our stay at the Clefstone was such a highlight. Before I even arrived Steffan was such a help when I called before check in and set such a good tone for the trip. There we were met such beautiful decor and amazing hospitality. We chose room 8 with the stunning Samurai wallpaper and we were so pleased with our choice. The room was clean and smelled fresh and I enjoyed the local soap provided. The location is perfect never too far from anything we ventured out to do which is always a plus. The breakfast every morning exceeded our expectations and I could not be more happy with the chefs Martha and Alondra. Erin and Jill were always so eager to chat and make our stay more comfortable. Jill was also sweet enough to mail out postcards for me! Steffan who held great conversations and gave me some of the blueberry coffee they serve to take home! You will have such a relaxing time at this inn and the price is well worth it. Everything was perfect we loved it!

Beautiful Place, Better Staff!

We really enjoyed our two-night stay here at the Cleftstone Inn - in particular, a big shout-out to the staff, Anita, Marina, and Steffen. They were very helpful and knowledgeable about the Bar Harbor area for restaurants and sightseeing recommendations. Although a short stay for us, we highly recommend staying here if you're going to Bar Harbor and the Acadia National Park!
