The property is easily accessible to Acadia NP and Bar Harbor. Most rooms have a beautiful view of the harbor and sunrise. Room was clean and enjoyed the large bathroom . Beds were comfortable but pillows were lumpy and needed replacing.

This place was amazing. Very clean and well attended. The view of the islands and harbor from our 4th floor room was incredible. A classic design w/ a surprisingly modern touch. The location right next to the waterfront district is perfect. Just an all around awesome experience. I would stay here over and over!

We had an absolutely fantastic stay at the Bluenose Inn! The location is beautiful, perched right up on the hill along the main road as you drive into Bar Harbor. Check-in was quick and easy, and the staff was friendly and welcoming throughout our stay. Our room was extremely clean, remarkably spacious, and featured a wonderful deck with magnificent views.
The amenities made our visit extra special: we thoroughly enjoyed the bar lounge with live piano music in the evenings, and breakfast at the Looking Glass restaurant offered delicious food alongside truly amazing views. With convenient on-site parking and easy access to downtown Bar Harbor, it made exploring the area seamless. Highly recommended for a comfortable and memorable Bar Harbor getaway!

We liked that the property had the basics right- clean rooms, comfortable beds etc.
We enjoyed the piano sessions in the evening in the common area.
While you can’t just step out and be in downtown, it ’s within reasonable walking distance if weather is good.
One annoyance was that we always needed to carry a physical key with us instead of card or app.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Bluenose and it was very reasonably priced given the time of year we visited (late August during a weekend).
Pros:
- Very clean, comfortable rooms
- Thoughtful touches in the rooms (vanity kits, lots of towels, bathrobes)
- Beautiful and convenient location, only about 3 minutes to downtown Bar Harbor
- Very nice pool and hot tub
- Incredible gift shop right in the lobby—lots of books, toys, souvenirs, snacks, etc. to choose from
- Live music on Saturday night was wonderful
Areas for improvement:
- Rooms still use actual metal keys; this was sort of eclectic in a way but at the same time was not super convenient

The room was a bit dated but very clean and comfortable. There is an indoor and outdoor pool- staff was incredibly friendly. Cute gift shop. They have a restaurant on the property for breakfast only and it was excellent. there is a bar with VERY limited bar appetizers- people did order door dash by the pool for lunch. It would be great if they offered sandwiches or bar food....

The property and room were both very clean. I liked our room as the shower and toilet were separate from the vanity area, which made it nice to get ready with multiple people staying in the room. The room was very spacious. The property was excellent as well. The views are phenomenal, the wildlife was great and the location was perfect.
