Centrally located top floor Barcelona

Centrally located apartment. Clean, comfortable and well set up. Finding it the first time was not easy though! Also it is up 4 flights of steep stairs with no elevator!

Det eneste positive å si om dette stedet er at det er sentralt, renholdet var også greit. Det første som møter en, er en gammel og slitt oppgang, så er det å ta seg opp 90 trappetrinn for å finne en låsboks hvor vi fant nøkler, så må man låse opp en gitterport, og videre en ny dør, før man endelig kan låse seg inn i leiligheten. Den var stor, og ganske stusselig. Det er også lytt i et så gammelt hus, og første natten ble vi underholdt av en eller annen klubb med musikk et par etasjer under oss. Vil vel ikke anbefale dette stedet, hvis man da ikke digger trapper og liker å sove med hørselvern.

Beliggenheden for denne lejlighed er helt unik på Plaza Real med liv musik og stemning. (Ingen larm i lejligheden fra pladsen) Sengen er ikke den bedste og der er ingen elevator så man har lige 90 trin at komme igennem. Lejligheden er ren og pæn og der er hvad man skal bruge men har lidt spanske skønshedsfejl hist og her. Men det var for mig fuldstændig underordnet. Næste gang jeg kommer til Barcelona booker jeg denne lejlighed igen.

prettig verblijf met een goed gevoel

het appartenment was ruim genoeg voor ons beide . meubels konden wel een upgrade krijgen vooral de bedden(190cm bedden met spieraal onderkant)klein keuken maar hebben we geen gebruik van gemaakt behalve de koelkast . de toegang naar appartement met zijn 5 trappen dat was wel even klimmen maar er was dan een groot terras waar je bijna privé zit. dat was wel erg geweldig. douche was ook goed en het was er schoon. communicatie met het verhuurbedrijf was zeer goed en de ligging was top om barcelona te bekijken of uit te gaan . bij elkaar een prettig verblijf gehad en een goed gevoel aan over gehouden .

Infested with Ants!

I'm not usually the type of person to write a negative review, but our stay at My Address in Plaza Real was pretty terrible. We quickly found the property is infested with Ants and would enter through the walls, baseboards, and door cracks (see pictures). We found ants in our bags and other personal belongings within 12 hours of our stay. The property manager, Miriyam, was far from helpful. She was told of the problem and denied any wrong doing, stating that the ants came from outside and would solve the problem by sealing the door, even though there are clear pictures of ants coming from multiple entry points. Further, she stated that it was the first time it has ever happened, even though there are ant traps present along with ant killing spray on the premise. She refused to offer a refund, help with reaccommodation, or reimburse for the property that was damaged from the ants. Ants were present throughout our stay, forcing us to frequently sweep the floors and spray pesticides to minimize their impact- far from what anyone should expect in a hotel. Be very cautious with this listing. The lower price point and central location can be attractive, however, you will be sacrificing your well being throughout your stay. Also- the stair situation is not to be ignored. It is about 10 flights of stairs through narrow passage ways. I would not recommend to anyone who is in poor physical fitness.

Great location!

This was located in a plaza that literally had restaurants and bars downstairs so it was very convenient. Located right off of La rambla and very easy to find. Nice size apartment with small kitchenette. Other things to note: There is no elevator and you have to go up many flights of stairs to the apartment, many flights. We were a group of 4 and coming up the stairs around 9PM, just talking calmly and had a resident open their door and tell us we were being too loud. They were very abrupt. I recommend not talking while using the stairs after 8PM. Once in the apartment no issue and quiet but apparently the stairs can be a problem. Also both bedrooms in the apartments are next to each other and have sliding doors so there is not a lot of privacy and you can hear each other in the rooms.

Great location but mediocre lodging!

This lodging is in a very desirable location right in the middle of La Rambla, but the actual lodging is not very desirable. The apartment is up on the top of the building with 4 keys to get there and a ton of flights of stairs. We are healthy and don’t mind that, but if you’re older or have a handicap, you’re out of luck. The beds are twin beds which can be pushed together for a couple, but you have that gap that’s annoying. The mattress is so thin and uncomfortable on a thin bed frame. The beds are like from a military camp. The sofa bed is so hard and not balanced. It will flip over if you’re on the open side. The shower stall was not built right so the water does not drain correctly. You’re standing in a pool of water while you’re showering. If you want to cook a meal in the apartment, the stove and pot/pans will not lend itself to a good experience. There is a standing fan provided, but it is broken. Thus, the location is great, but the actual apartment is not so great!

Top localisation Attention 95 marches !!!

L'appartement est extrêmement bien placé. Une terrasse vraiment très agréable. Petit bemol sur les 95 marches pour y accéder non mentionnés dans le descriptif et pas d'ascenseur. Le canapé et les coussins des fauteuils extérieurs ont beaucoup de taches. Il n'y avait que tres peu de couverts (3 fourchettes par exemple).
