Worst experience of my life!

Pictures of the loft are totally misleading. The announcement describes a loft with terrace and nowhere it is mentioned that the loft is underground. I discovered it by chance only once I paid the 30% downpayment. I suffer from claustrofobia and I asked to change the booking. I never received an alternative offer. I then had to cancel the booking but my request has been ignored. The downpayment has not yet been returned to me yet. Communication was a disaster. I really do not recommend booking via Vrbo to anyone.

Good Stay

Excellent location. Quite central to lots of Barcelona’s attractions. Check in process is at an offsite location which is non optimal, but the MySpace staff is very friendly, helpful, and informative.

An underground apartment with no natural light, unfinished electrics and a dank feel

This property is not as its advertised on the site. The whole place is shabby and unfinished. Main points: No plugs in one bedroom, just a bare wire hanging from a wall where the bedside lamp was meant to plug in No plug points in the kitchen are so to use the coffee machine or toaster you had to balance it on a stool Hairdryer only worked if you held the plug into the wall while you use it No shower mat in the bathroom meaning everyone brought water into the hallway which was dangerous and slippy. The threat of a £100 charge if you lose a key from the building managers...when you pick up the key in a building 20 minutes away from the property A shabby pool area with minimal tied furniture No natural light in the property. The fact it is underground isn't mentioned anywhere in the listing. The people in the flat above light up your bedroom when they use their hallway light in the night through a transparent panel. Shoddy cheap plastic wardrobes. I could go on but the whole place is just really really bad.

Kaution nicht zurück

Gebuchte Wohnung nicht identisch zur gekommenen Wohnung. Nicht sauber, noch Chips vom Vorgänger. Alles sehr abgewohnt. Pool auf dem Dach Fliesen locker. Die größte Frechheit : bis heute 400 Euro Kaution nicht zurück bekommen. Bereits 4 Anrufe + 1 Mail geschickt !!!

Smelled of sewage leak, no reply nor refund from VRBO

We arrived noting a horrid smell and unsanitary conditions in the apartment including mold. It took hours on the phone, call dropped many times before getting an English speaker on the line. Have sent multiple emails with pictures and in over 2 weeks still no response from VRBO.
