Royal Ramblas

"The location was amazing. It was 5 minutes from LA Boqueria market, 2 minutes from another super market and restaurants all over. They provide all the amenities. They provide filtered water station on every floor which was essential. Super friendly staff. The only negative thing is that the entire Ramblas street in front of the hotel has been under heavy construction over one year and no-one notified me prior to getting there. It's not the hotel issue so can't hold them responsible. I would definitely return to this hotel next time. We were there when the Pope Leon was visiting Barcrlona to inaugurate the Sagrada Familia and Formula 1 2026 in Barcelona. It was very busy around the hotel area."

"The place is great, the location is excellent, the staff is very nice and helpful (specially the lady at the buffet), and the service guy really tried. Wifi was very spoty so it was hard to play anything over my own networks (amazon/netflix). The TV was pretty much inoperable after a certain time. My guess is that it was the time when everyone came back in and all were on wifi. Their transmitter wasn't big enough to handle the traffic. I wouldn't recommend if you work remotely. However, the buffet was decently priced and well stocked. It was very convenient to have on property. The room was larger than expected and nicely remodeled. I had a beautiful view of the cathedral. I loved being able to swing by the room to regroup in the middle of a day full of touring the city. I would definitely stay again."

"The hotel is fine. Modern but lacks character. Check-in was a complete disaster with needing to queue up, to then be told to use a QR code and queue back up again. Breakfast was terrible. The surrounding area is not great and there is definitely better hotels/areas in Barcelona to stay in. Wonderful views across the city from the rooftop bar."

"Hotel is in a great location in the Gothic Quarter. Breakfast in the basement restaurant was superb. Lobby is nice place to relax. Room is postage stamp size. Barely bigger than the bed. Bathroom size and amenities are fine. Staff was not helpful with any questions or concerns."
