What is there to say: Amazing staff, excellent breakfast, spacious room, comfortable bed, great views & good pool. All in all excellent. Good to note that it’s located up the hill so a car is recommended to move around.

We stayed at Prati Palai as part of our honeymoon, and it was everything! You can feel the attention to detail, the guests, and Bardolino culture. Our Jr. Suite was a massive size, which was perfect as we experienced some rain. We preferred to walk down to Bardolino and to other towns as well, but with plenty of parking, I know many guests drove and came and went. It truly was a relaxing and bucket list experience.

Wunderschönes großzügiges Grundstück (18 Hektar!) oberhalb von Bardolino mit Blick auf den Gardasee. Das Haus wurde mit sicherer Hand restauriert und zum kleinen Hotel umgebaut. Ein sehr leckeres Frühstück mit Obst und gutem Aufschnitt erwartet einen jeden Morgen. Das Personal ist sehr umsichtig und unaufdringlich freundlich. Es gibt nichts zu kritteln, was erwähnenswert wäre.

Amazing hotel. Lake Garda is quite touristy so this is perfect - you get the beautiful views of the lake in a stunning spot in the hills.Rooms are gorgeous and so is the pool area. Bike hire is fun! Service is friendly and so helpful.

Wir haben Prati Palai sehr genossen. Die Aussicht war wunderbar. Das Zimmer war sehr schlicht, groß und eine gute Klima Anlage. Das Frühstuck war sehr gut und die schöne Lage mit den Olivenbäumen mit Blick auf den See haben es perfekt gemacht. Wir hatten sehr gute Empfehlungen von Restaurants und unsere Gastgeber haben einige Reservierungen in Kürze für uns erledigt. Danke und wir kommen wider 👋🏻👍🏻

tranquil, farmhouse style retreat.

Lovely relaxed atmosphere with very friendly hosts. Extensive continental breakfast and fresh fruit available throughout the day. There are minimal rooms so it's an exceedingly tranquil place to stay overlooking Lake Garda. Plenty of sun loungers and a pool to cool off in. There is an excellent honesty bar with a good selection at really reasonable prices (€14 bottle of prosecco) Lots of parking if you drive. The walk to Bardolino is about 35mins downhill but probably warrants a taxi back. A few really authentic restaurants within 15mins walk as well. Wouldn't hesitate to return!

Beautifully decorated and couldn’t ask for better views! Very friendly and helpful owners/staff, they help with recommendations, booking taxis etc. Although they only run bed and breakfast, they will put together a delicious lunch for you upon request for you to enjoy on the terrace with the view of Bardolino! Bardolino is full of wonderful restaurants. I would only recommend walking to town if you’re able, the hills can be quite challenging. Very relaxed accommodation, you are left to your own devices. I would definitely go here again!

Absolutely Perfect!

Prati Palai was absolutely incredible and truly a standout from our trip to Italy. The rooms are simple in decor, but elegant and comfortable. We stayed in a suite and had more than enough room for two. Plus, the view from our room was amazing! The grounds of Prati are stunning, and we were in awe the whole time. On the property, there are lots of olive trees, as well as lemon trees and pomegranate trees, which create a really unique ambiance. They even have a hammock nestled in the olive trees which was wonderful to relax in. The pool is fantastic, with a great view. Breakfast was delicious, with meats, cheeses, breads, fruits, eggs, coffee, tea and juice. If you like, the staff will make you a light lunch of salads or sandwiches. We had this a couple times and it was great, and we ate by the small tables overlooking the lake. Prati Palai is very peaceful, and tucked away. It's perfect for a couples vacation. The staff at Prati are so friendly and helpful, and felt like friends by the end of our stay. We are already planning on how we can get back to Prati in the future. This place is 10 stars!

Beautiful place with excellent staff

A picturesque and tranquil place with wonderful views, great staff and lovely local restaurants and wine yards in close surroundings. A excellent place to stay if you want to discover the Bardonlini/Garda area, or just want to relax by the lovely pool.

Wunderschönes Hotel mit tollem Blick über Bardolino und den See. Einziger Nachteil: nach dem Abendessen im Ort müsste man ca. 40 min bergauf zum Hotel zurück gehen oder mit dem Auto fahre .

Nydelig beliggenhet, utsikt over Bardolino.

Nydelige rom og nydelige omgivelser. Ca.25 min gange ned til Bardolino. Fortreffelig utsikt når man inntar frokosten enten inne eller ute. Et hus med sjel. Hyggelige personale!

A home/not a hotel

This is a 'country home' in Italy with a fantastic view of Lake Guarda and the hills terraced with grape vines. We enjoyed the peace of the setting while being close to Bardolino village. The owner treated us like guests in his home.

Beautiful and relaxing

What an amazing place! Everything is stunning, the architecture is beautiful! Very peaceful and relaxing hotel. The only suggestion for improvement would be to offer cooked breakfast upon request, we would be even happy to pay extra for it. We will most definitely come back soon.

Would go back in a minute

This hotel/guesthouse is up there with the best places I have ever stayed. Nothing is too much for the staff there who were extremely friendly and helpful for our first visit to the area. They have plenty of recommendations for things to do around the lake. The hotel has only been open for a couple of years following a renovation. From the communal areas to our room it looked amazing. The pictures don't do it justice! There is not a restaurant as such, but staff are very accomodating in providing salads, antipasti etc for light lunch options. Given the view from the pool, it is a bit of a walk to get to Bardlino town. Hotel staff provide details of a taxi company who can provide transfers to/from Bardolino, or parking at the main street if you hire a car. Overall, this hotel is amazing. The views are incredible, and everything this hotel does, it does very well. Its a very relaxing environment and I couldn't recommend it enough.

Wonderful stay in a stunning location

Wonderful stay in a stunning location. Very relaxing. About a 20 min walk to the town but much more difficult going back as its uphill! Be mindful that taxis Into Bardolino are approx €15 each way if you don't want to walk. Worth staying up in the hills for the beautiful views. Would definitely return.
