「The Royal is a great hotel situated in the quaint village of Heysham. We loved our stay. Lots of nice walks and history. The hotel has a very relaxed and chilled atmosphere. The food is excellent and all staff are friendly and display excellent communication and customer service skills. Everwhere is spotlessly clean. Free parking is an added bonus. We will be returning soon and I will recommend the Royal to my friends and family.」

「A really great find! Un peu de cuisine française en Angleterre! Service is excellent, food is so good 10 isn’t enough. They actually know what a ‘kir’ is and the steak comes with a béarnaise thats perfectly made and at the right temperature. The dauphinoise potato was unspeakably good. 「The lady manager greeted us on arrival, she was very friendly and helpful and bubbly which made a difference to our stay it mad us feel welcome, the only thing was there wasn't always someone on reception. 「We had a very warm welcome on arrival. The staff here were very friendly and helpful. Very dog friendly and it was great we could eat with our dog in the bar. The family room was very clean and good size. Not a great view of the fire escape but it didn’t matter for one night. In a great location in the seafront and easy to park outside on the road for free. 」

"The location is great and nearby the ferry pier. But the hotel is not in good maintenance at room, the toilet ceiling have a lot of dirty water marks, it looked disgusting. I booked a lakeview room that cost £250 a night, but not worth it, the room is really dilapidated, even they don't have a refrigerator at room, I needed to keep my birthday cake in their restaurant. The room price wss including the breakfast but it was lack of choice, they serve breakfast until 10:30 am, when I ordered scrambling egg with smoked salmon toast, they said no more but I saw other customers have it, I thought smoked salmon and egg are very common foods in a hotel restaurant, I wondered why they can tell me no more stocks. I just can say this hotel not worth for money, they are overpriced. Staffs are not really friendly. "
