“We absolutely loved the property, the animals were a beautiful sight to wake to amidst the picturesque fields. The beds were extremely comfortable and the kitchenette also was well equipped. Eddie put the heaters on for us prior to our arrival so the home was very warm. We had a very relaxing stay and enjoyed the surrounding areas. Thanks for your hospitality Eddy.”

“We were initially disappointed with the lack of air conditioning although listed for the property, however following a phone conversation where our concerns were put at ease, and the property was lovely and cool as stated made it very comfortable. All-in-all, a very satisfactory stay”

“I would never go there again owner was staying vin room behind my room thin walls and ironing board was leaning against our wall and it got knocked by movement on the access door adjoining room 2 as we were placed in room 1 . Owner prince stated that our cabin was not ready so we up graded. Feeling uneasy about the situation we the owner prince was sitting on his lap top in the next room to us ”

“What is not to like about this property? It's cosy, clean and well equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay. The host was friendly and easy to contact but respected our privacy. Complimentary breakfast items and wine were provided along with fire wood and cooking staples. The bed was super comfortable. This place is in such a beautiful setting with an idyllic view over the valley. We sat for hours on the deck listening to the sounds of nature around us, watching the sun come up……

“The layout and furnishings are basic and definitely not worth $229/night. The hot water ran out after 5 minutes, so that was pooh. Of the dozens of BNB stays, this was the only one that we felt ripped off by and think a $100 should be refunded. 😠”

“The motel rooms on the ground floor were sufficiently shield by the hotel building so we heard no traffic noise. The beds were comfortuable and we slept well. It has a microwave, toaster and fridge with the makings for breakfast at hand. One minor downside is that there is no formal office. So. you need to call someone to check-in to your room. Similarly on checkout, you just leave the keys in your room and shut the door.”

“Pros - Immaculately clean. Lovely room and grounds. Well equipped room with comfortable bed. Easy check in process. Cons - little far out of town. Needs sound proofing - could hear neighbours every sound-(foot steps, alarm clock, talking and jug boil)”

“Lovely property, renovated (but not "restored") to high standard but modern electricals (great wifi, TV) and kitchen/baths. Spacious home, multiple eating areas, quiet street, and with a terrific host. Maldon is a charming small town and well-located to see the goldfields area. Only downside is there are only a couple of places in the town proper to dine out (Castlemaine is close). But a great place with all creature comforts.”

“Property was excellent in all areas that mattered to us as seniors. Clean comfort facilities and appliances accessible and access to management when necessary. The township and people were lovely, freely sharing information and knowledge. Weather on this occasion was perfect. Our only criticism is really one for council and authorities to improve. We found general road signage to be less than satisfactory when trying to follow maps and attractions brochures. Attractions need a lot more……
